This is. Somewhat of a downgrade? Anh Sang used to be able to do some pretty weird stuff with her powers like turn things into light and phase objects through things. Which is. Not. Actually connected to light manipulation. So I'm basically making her powers more into what they're supposed to do. Canonically, I'm trying to say that she's been at SA long enough that she's realized that science doesn't work the way she thinks and the doubt has made her powers grow in a more logical direction.
Fairy Princess Rainbow Call Ame no Uki Hashi - Anh Sang can honestly say that she's been to the end of the rainbow and unfortunately, there's no delicious pot of gold at the end, only disappointment. When she was young, her abilities were more inconsistent and difficult to control. The years on Manta Carlos, however, have taught her discipline. Where she once was only able to utilize sources of natural light for her photokinesis, she has since learned to draw upon artificial sources as well. However, her gain in knowledge has been met by an equal loss of ability. Once capable of amazing feats only remotely related to her type of magic, her new understanding of how the world -specifically, science- works has cost her the naive belief that anything is possible through the most tenuous of connections.
Like a plant, Anh Sang takes energy from local light sources. She is able to convert this light into pure, non-elemental magic or compress the energy into solid and semi-solid shapes. The hardness of such light depends on how much she compresses at once. Generally speaking, something as hard as wood or stone would require using all of the light Anh Sang manages to collect within a day. The size of this material would be about the size of a brick and easily molded into different shapes. For something more translucent, it would take about a few hours of light collecting to achieve the same mass of material.
Technically speaking, compressing the light together takes no time at all (as it occurs at the speed of light). This means that Anh Sang is theoretically able to transport all the light she has collected over the years at the same - as long as she's fine with being absolutely blinded by it. Possibly for life. In practice, she tends to carry around half a week's worth of light at all times, keeping the rest of it safely hidden away. In her closet. It gets annoying when she has to actually sleep.
Once capable of separating white light into different colors, Anh Sang has since lost the ability due to her understanding of how wavelengths function. Her newest projects involve being able to manipulate the wavelengths of light to create different colors, possibly even colors not visible to the human eye. She has met only a little success in manipulating larger wavelengths in the visible light spectrum. This is probably due to the fact that Anh Sang is not good at science and trying to actively rely on science-based explanations for her own powers only ends up crippling her. She tries not to think too hard about it.
When converting light to pure magic, Anh Sang is able to transfuse it into objects for later use or people for their own use. Once turned into magic, however, it can no longer be transformed back to light.

Fairy Princess Rainbow Call - You know how nobody ever can get to the end of the rainbow? Anh Sang can! And then she can steal it from the sky and twist it into whatever shape she wants. The different colors probably each have some sort of ability but she's having way too much fun making butterflies out of them to find out. Normally, she uses these butterflies to send messages back to her parents at the speed of light. Her ability actually is a type of photokinesis that only works with natural light. So, starlight, moonlight, sunlight, and auroras are all game as well.
Once Anh Sang takes the light from the sky, she can't put it back directly. Instead, the light obtains a semi solid form, with its density depending on how many light waves are compressed together. This light will remain solid as long as she wants, even if it passes to a different person. If for some reason she ever decides that she wants to get rid of the light, she can bend it into a different shape, slowly bleed it back into the air, or convert the energy from light into pure magic.
If she chooses the third option, Anh Sang can then imbue this magic into other people, permanently or for however long she likes. Each color does something different but as said before, she hasn't been keeping track. What she does know, though, is that she can't use this power on herself. It's really annoying!

Color Chart :
Standard Colors
- Soft White : Simple white light that is good for molding into mostly solid, somewhat translucent shapes. It has a fluid look and blurs near the edges.
- Hard White : Condensed white light that can be crafted into solid, opaque shapes. It has a very sharp look and can be physically sharp as well. To make this, Anh Sang has to work very hard to put lots of colors together until the energy from extreme compression fuses it all together into a uniform mass.
- Red : Helicon - Infuses light with the energy from magnetic fields, allowing it to pass through solid material
- Yellow : ??
- Green : ??
- Blue : ??
- Purple : Sublimation - Temporarily turns objects into light particles for under a dozen seconds
- Magenta : Purple and Red : ??
- Orange : Red and Yellow : ??
- Lime : Yellow and Green : ??
- Cyan : Green and Blue : ??
- Indigo : Blue and Purple : ??
- Black : ??
Creations :
- Common Butterflies : Soft White : Pretty but largely useless, these butterflies can be used to send image messages at the speed of light. Anh Sang normally uses them to contact her parents who are currently working in Osaka. Her messages are sometimes images of her gesturing, sometimes images of things that she had written or drawn.
- White Butterflies : Hard White : Functions the same as common butterflies, but with the properties of hard light. This is also one way that Anh Sang likes to keep hard light stored.
- Shiny Marbles : Hard White : The end product of some of Anh Sang's failed projects. This is also one way that she likes to keep hard light stored. When she makes them incorrectly, however, they will tend to explode.
- "Elegant" Gaudy Staff : Hard White : TBA

- Shiny Marbles : White Light, Hard plus Pure Magic : The end product of some of Anh Sang's failed projects. They are essentially pints of pure magic with shells of slightly hard white light. When thrown, they shatter on impact and act like flash grenades with a moderate amount of force.
