Oi.

I'm Tori. Some of you already know me from my time in the cbox. I was shown the site by botchmun several times in the past couple of days and finally decided to join. Mainly because the chat box was so active and friendly.

I started role-playing on and off on AOL chats around 2003/2004, but didn't start role-playing full time until I got my computer in March of 2005. So, I've been role-playing for nine years now. Before that I've been writing for as long as I could hold a pencil. I'm currently writing a book about the character I apped and I hope RPing will push me to make some more progress on that. I also write video game reviews for a living, so if I'm ever not on it's probably due to my focusing on that.

Nice to meet ya!

I usually write fantasy and fantasy disguised as science fiction because science and I have a love-hate relationship that normally swings into dazed bewilderment.
So, in other words you're making the next Doctor Who?

Is Superhero Fantasy a genre? Either way, it's a modern day superhero fantasy. An idea I had for a while now that will hopefully see some progress. I haven't finished a book since I wrote Harry Potter fanfiction in my notebook.

I've never seen Doctor Who, actually... I kind of live under a rock. But since there's both electricity and internet, this is mostly okay.

...I think if you're writing superhero fantasy, you might get a long well with Ryu... Maybe... It seems like in theory that goes pretty well with his over the top villains and power systems. In theoryyyyyyy.

And I haven't finished anything ever. (Besides some short stories...but that's not really my end goal anyways.) Even my fulfilled NaNoWriMo's failed to end plot wise... I would be writing right now but... This forum is addicting. O.o So. Much.

Doctor Who is pretty much fantasy in the guise of science fiction as an excuse to do anything.

I lasted a whole day doing NaNo once. A whole day 8D
