Appearance Description: Aloysius on the surface looks sketchy, the kind of person you’d buy drugs from. If not buying drugs, then he’d certainly be shaking you down because you owe him some money. Or he’s a member of some post hardcore band. He smells of cigarettes and engine grease most of the time. Aloysius is typically seen wearing all black; a baggy pair of pants and a sleeveless shirt or vest when he feels like it. That may be his typical attire, but he cleans up quite nicely and has been seen at many social gatherings wearing the finest suits. He has just enough color to his skin not to be written off as a corpse. His eyes are black, and his hair is kept short. Probably his most notable features are the odd markings that run down his forehead and just past his eyes. He’s 5'11" with a slender yet muscular build.
The Man
Personality Description: Like many things in Monta Carlo, appearances don’t tell half the story. Aloysius smart, scary smart as a matter of fact. He may dress like a punk, but he carries his family name with pride and does his utmost to do right by them. Aloysius is proud of his heritage yet humble as well. Never one to flaunt wealth or look down on anyone from a different social class. He’s always been well read and able to keep up with adult conversations from an early age. He has a particular knack for building machines and likes tinkering around. As such he’s in school for business management and mechanical engineering. The downside to this is he can wind up holed up in his workshop for days. In his free time, he plays chess and other games that involve intense strategy, sharpens his martial arts skills, and practices parkour.
On a normal day, Aloysius is well mannered and a bit mellow. He sports a somewhat morbid and nihilistic sense of humor. He often has to finish jokes with “that was a joke” to people who don’t pick up on it right away. With a low tolerance for any bullshit, he’s not the kind of person you should just go and provoke or threaten. He’s a rather vicious fighter he doesn’t distinguish gender, family, or anything of the like. To top things off, he is somewhat (instinctively) territorial in terms of keeping what’s his he values family and friends, as well as his possessions, and Monta Carlo itself. Not territorial in the sense that he’s possessive, but he is protective. He sees it as his family’s duty to make sure it remains a safe haven for those who don’t exactly fit very well in the world.
Powers: Raptor form: Aloysius is a member of the Paltiel family. A family known for their ability to shapeshift into dinosaurs. Naturally Aloysius has this ability, in his case he becomes a black feathered raptor (hence his nickname). A Utahraptor to be exact but no one bothers to differentiate much to his irritation. In this form he stands at six foot even and is 23 feet in length. Whether his intelligence in human form has any links to his prehistoric form has yet to be confirmed but he’s sharp. What he lacks in size he makes up for with speed and agility. Unlike smaller raptors though, he can take a hit or two due to being the largest of the raptor species. He has the standard array of natural weapons that all dromeosaurs possess; clawed fore limbs, a set of razor sharp teeth, and the signature modified toe claw which is 9 inches in length in his case.
Bringing about the full transformation is bothersome and in some cases impractical for combat against a well trained opponent. Aloysius he might not be as large as other family members, but partially changing is much easier. Aloysius normally stops halfway, but he also put great time and effort into practicing changing his head, legs, and tail.
The downside to his transformations are the hunger that follows after a transformation. The process is also uncomfortable, especially when pushing past points that he normally doesn’t transform past.
Skills: As stated before he’s very mechanically inclined and cunning.
He’s well versed in martial arts, namely Savate but his style also incorporates aspects of capoeira.
Biography: It’s not really a secret that the Paltiel family is one of the oldest families on Manta Carla. Aloysius is the oldest member of the younger generation of the family. While he admired his parents and respected their work, he also looked up to was the current family head, Ignatius. It was on his tenth birthday that he had forced himself to shift. By that time he was becoming aware of the growing speculation and anticipation in regards to his alternate form. His first transformation left him exhausted and in a great deal of pain. After that however, learning how best to utilize his powers became a goal. He consulted older family members and shapeshifters he knew from school on such matters.
He spent his middle, high school, and into his present college years devoted to his studies. Though he has taken up hobbies such as parkour and has become well versed in the Savate style of martial arts. He also moved into a small house off campus taking odd jobs while he continues furthering his education.

-Double majoring in business management and mechanical engineering
-Lives off campus in a small house which he offers up a room if anyone needs temporary housing
-Owns a wolf pup named Zwart who may not exactly be normal
-He doesn’t have to, but he does work primarily as a courier however he will take up odd jobs if the pay’s good and it’s legal.
-He prefers walking but when he does need to travel a good distance he owns a motorcycle
