Biography:
She was left at an orphanage as a baby, adopted several times but always returned to the orphanage because they thought she was possessed, brought bad luck and many other explanations as to why weird things happened in the homes she was adopted into. She subconsciously blocked her memories of her powers, she also created Kali and her mind beautified the event
What she remembers, however false memories they may be, is that she wished to never be alone again and that Kali answered her wishes. Ever since, her subconscious mind decided for her that Kali was magical and later she was read a book of fantasy. This book contained knowledge about genies, spirits or things that granted wishes, the only problem was that she got mad at the author for getting Kali's appearance wrong and Kali did not live in a lamp.
