Thinking, he considered multiple options. "The Girl I'm bonded with. Prisma. I'll need her help for this."

It was assisted suicide, but as she wouldn't be a citizen, and would be out of the Police's Jurisdiction. If they tried, then once he was successfully converted, he'd play her lawyer, and as her king, put her under Diplomatic Immunity. As annoying as it was, he was fond of the girl. Gave him a reason to actually be nice to others.

Clearing his throat, he looked at the being in front of him. "Can you summon her here?"

"I was hoping," Cornelius said with faint amusement, "that you simply had asked for her phone number at some point. No matter how it may seem, I do not have the power to actually summon others at my pleasure." Although, the fact that he had so smoothly introduced the initial participating Regalia to their partners probably gave off the false impression that was one of his abilities.

"That said, I do happen to have it if you do not."

Call him old-fashioned, but he didn't think young children needed phones. when he was their age, he used a chalkboard, and that was only when the teacher wanted it. not all their fancy gadgets. All that lead to Augustus never asking if she had a phone.

Hearing that Cornelius wasn't able to summon Regalia though put a wrench in his plans. with a face reddening from embarrassment, he nodded, pulling out his phone. "If you can do so, that would be appreciated."

Nodding once, Cornelius took the phone from Augustus and carefully put in Prisma's number before handing it back on speakerphone. After a few rings, somebody finally picked up.

It wasn't exactly that Cornelius was anxious per-say -his temperament was patience, after all- but he felt a bit of emotion that edged infuriatingly between despair and hope. That in between was impossible to properly place.

"Yeah? Oggie, is that you?" The young girl's voice could be heard. She sounded tired, which made sense, considering how she was asleep on his couch when she left. Augustus shifted his weight, uncomfortable with Cornelius hearing the nickname. "Yeah, it's me. I'm in the Park right now, and I need your help with something. How Quickly can you get here?"

Looking up from the phone to Cornelius, he spoke in a calm tone, clearly hiding a bit of urgency. "Don't mention that name to anyone." That was a personal thing, and her only allowed her because she signed a contract. It wasn't binding, but he regarded it was a favour rather than total servitude. Guess it was time to use that favour.

Cornelius nodded serenely. "Of course not," he said. The likelihood of him ever seeing Augustus again after the tournament was slim, especially since he was taking on the throne that Cornelius refused. He had planned to wander the human realms a bit longer, perhaps staying in Manta Carlos, perhaps not. It was a beautiful idea, that he could do as he liked and Cornelius intended to cling onto that as long as possible.

Looking away from Cornelius, Augustus continued speaking, "I need you to get my Briefcase, yes that one I told you not to touch. Bring it to me in Oceania park."

The Briefcase was important, as it required the necessary paperwork for consensual murder. It was some of the forms he always had with him, along with permanent employment and Transfer of ownership. It was also important, as it held a knife he had custom made a few years back. it was bronze, so it didn't hurt him to touch it, but he was still deadly with it.

After a bit more conversing, he hung up. "She will be here soon, so I'd like to ask a few questions. Why of all people, the citizens of Manta Carlos? You had a greater chance of having a Demon for a King than anything."

"Is there anything wrong with having a demon for a king?" Cornelius asked, bemused. From what he had seen, most demons on the island failed to act appropriately demonically. "Many of the proctors live here and through them, I've heard that the island has such an unheard of variety of people from different walks of life. I thought it only obvious that I set the tournament here. Besides, there are few other large magical communities."

Augustus nodded. When one was to be given a seat of power, it wasn't a good idea to speak badly of another group. "Nothing's wrong with a Demon, as it is. Across the Veil, Various groups would dislike the Idea of a Leader with, ahem, such negative associations."

Rubbing his eyes, he wondered if Cornelius would take residence here once Augustus took the throne. It seemed likely since everyone that steps foot here became a resident.
