Broen thought and nodded slowly. "I mean. That's fine. Whatever. I mean I can't exactly complain. There's always been the chance that I've got some asshole watching me. Just tell her I hope she enjoys the show." Broen smirked and pulled out some gum to chew. "You want some?"

He eyed the gum warily. "Will it help me get over my intense hatred of all things Cornelius?" Aslan asked rhetorically. After a moment, though, he grudgingly gave a nod.

Broen handed a stick of gum over to Aslan as he chewed his own. If he was being honest, he had more important places he wanted to be. But he also wanted to try and bond with this asshole as quickly as possible.

"So what do you do for fun? I mean, do you even have fun? You kinda seem like the answer is going to be 'I had fun once, it was awful'."

Not too much of a stranger to human inventions, Aslan took the gum and began to chew slowly, making a face at the sharp taste. "I read," he said slowly. "And write. Occasionally I watch cooking shows and thank the powers above that I do not require sustenance as that is rather expensive to keep up with."

Chewing his gum, Broen "Nigga what? You watch cooking shows? I love cooking! It's the fuckin' best." He cracked a small smile and got more animated, talking with his hands.

"Do you cook? Like, do you know how? I could teach you in you're interested. It's really relaxing and you end up with this bomb-ass looking thing that is also delicious as fuck." And on and on, grinning like a madman.

"I can't say I am particularly adapt at cooking," Aslan said, wary of all of this energy. "There's always something that can be bought in terms of books or supplies for the store so most of my pay goes towards that. I can't say cooking has ever been a priority for me seeing as I do not require it. It is, however, somewhat interesting to watch. I wouldn't be completely opposed to learning, I suppose. I would hate to lose too much of my pay, however."
