Dropping her mouth lightly before snapping it closed, Claire was astonished by the boy's reaction. She was beginning to wonder if he actually understood her at all. She didn't mean her words to be inspirational or interesting, as he no doubt thought they were. She sat there, in utter silence, as he continued to twist her words to mean positive things, going into detail about stuff that she hadn't even asked to hear about.

She was happy to hear though, that her words had gotten him to stay, even though she wasn't sure that she actually wanted that. "I'm not sure if I could." She had never tried to use the water in the air to her advantage, ans she wasn't sure that she wanted to try. "I think it would be safer for me to have, more visible body of water." She tried to phrase that as best that she could without sounding insulting to his idea. "But sure, we could go down together... And go see the... Fish?"

Success! The girl who also liked the fishes would go and see them with him! To be honest, Luke was already starting to forget the first part of their conversation. Something about birds and the like and merfolk, maybe. His recollection was vague but the fogginess of it only served to further convince him that something incredibly and postively postive was happening. Kind of?

"Okay, I guess we'll just be real slow going then," he decided. "No more birdies to fly with!" And so saying he completely changed back to his human form and walked right passed the girl, heading for the stairs. "C'mon, c'mon, c'mon! Let's go and see them before the sun comes up and swallows them all!"

Blinking more that she knew that he should be, she felt herself starting to like the weird boy. He at least kept things entertaining, which was something that Claire could admire about him. He was spontaneous and very happy and hyper, which was something that Claire sometimes wanted, but she knew that it would never fit into who she was as a person. That wasn't her. It was as if the man in front of her was shaking her how she could be if she were to decide that she wanted to change her personality, though, with the time that he had spent around him, she was beginning to like herself a lot more.

Smiling lightly as she changed to his human form, she was glad that he had not decided to jump off of the building, leaving her all alone. Though she didn't mind being left behind, it was the fact that the man wouldn't have cared, or didn't care if he did do that. "Alright." Looking as he passed her, she stood up quickly and nodded to him, though he was turned away from her, and followed him off to their new adventure.
