Name: Lunetta Decadence
Age: 19
Birthday: October 9th
Gender: Female
Class: College
Grade: Junior/Third Year
College Major: Culinary Arts with a minor in Business

Appearance Description:

Lunetta is a spider hybrid. Due to her nature, she has both spider and human qualities. Her skin is a pale lavender; it's smooth to the touch but tougher than it appears. Her hair and eyes are the same dark purple. She has multiple large eyes akin to a spider. Her nose isn't visible. Only five giant eyes and a small mouth. She has cute little fangs. I wouldn't suggest toying around with them; the fangs are capable of excreting a paralyzing poison when she bites down on someone. However, being the nice girl she is, she avoids doing so by keeping the fangs retracted for the most part. One probably notices her limbs immediately. Instead of having eight legs, she has six arms and two legs. They function normally, and she can control them all at once with ease. Her body is incredibly thin; she stands at just 5'. Her hips are the widest part of her body; she's only an A cup. Spiders don't exactly get breasts. Her butt is heart shaped and small.

Luna adores poofy clothing, so she often wears clothes that include ribbons and ruffles. She prefers to keep it simple and goes for solids over patterns. She likes combining colors within the same color family together. Her favorite colors are pink and purple, so she has many shades of both. She mixes and matches frequently. She likes short sleeve tops because they give her arms more freedom; she dislikes long sleeves because one set of her arms are restricted while the rest of them aren't. Cold doesn't bother her really, so she doesn't require long sleeves anyway. She's cold-blooded and uses external sources of heat (I.E. The Sun) in order to regulate her body temperature. However, she is a breed which has evolved to not require much in that department, so no she won't freeze in winter or lose much of her activity level during that time. There's a different reason for that too. Accessories featuring moon or star shapes and patterns are common in her wardrobe. She also adores little spider charms, so that's a good idea for a gift. She often wears heels to compensate for her height, but she can't walk in anything above 2 inches.

Personality Description: Lunetta is a sweet, kind soul. She's very snuggling and loves hugging people. She tends to get in close proximity to people and gets saddened whenever people show fear or disgust towards her. She behaves in an extroverted manner and is often one to initiate a conversation. Her country accent is cute and prevalent in her speech despite her not using words from that dialect. Being half-spider, she is capable of communicating with spiders in their default language along with English and French. She knows a tiny bit of German, but not enough to last in a conversation. Luna definitely has Southern hospitality; whenever someone visits her, she always makes sure to bring out tea and snacks for them. She is super polite and functions as a good listener. She tries her best to entertain people with conversation and tricks. She can juggle and multitask incredibly well. She's ambitious and determined; she will become a master chef! The girl is a dreamer and works hard to accomplish her goals. Sometimes she pushes herself too much though and exhausts her energy. She fails to take care of herself from time to time when she focuses on her dreams or other people too much. Occasionally she'll need a reality check and reminder that she has her health to care for as well.

Powers: Lunetta is half-spider, half-mage. Her spider half grants her eight limbs instead of the standard four limbs for a human. Her five eyes grant her greater vision. She can communicate with spiders. She has retractable fangs that excrete paralyzing poison. When the fangs are out, if she bites down on someone and pierces the skin, then the poison can leak into the blood and cause near-instant mild paralysis. The person's body will stiffen greatly, assuming there is no poison immunity, and suffer limited movement. Her fangs are sharp enough to pierce human flesh if she bites down hard enough. The poison is only on her fangs, and her fangs cannot be retracted if she intends to use it. She can shoot webbing out of a tiny, barely visible hole just above where her butt crack starts. It's sticky, thick, and equivalent to thin rope. This means it has the same weaknesses as regular rope. It'd be hard to rip apart with regular human strength, but it's easy to cut with a blade or burn it with fire.

Luna has an affinity to the Moon. This means that depending on the lunar phase she gains a power boost. She becomes stronger and gains increased stamina. Full Moon gives her the highest bonus. Under the effects of the full moon, she has super strength just a level below Superman. She can toss people and objects around. On moonless nights, she gains zero bonuses. Note that increased stamina does not translate to increased running speed. This also only applies to her physical strength and energy level; she doesn't gain any bonuses towards her racial passives. Her poison and webbing do not get bonuses.

  • New Moon: Minimal bonuses. She's equivalent to a casual weight lifter. She can complete a mile run, maybe two on a good day.
  • Waxing/Waning Crescent: She can bench press two of herself (Which is ~250 lbs.). She can go on for ten miles.
  • Waxing/Waning Gibbous: Oh hey, she can lift a sports car. ...Uh oh. She has enough stamina to run twenty miles.
  • Full Moon: OH GOD IS THAT A TOW TRUCK?! And she can run fifty miles?!

Luna possesses a special kind of intuition that greatly helps her cooking skills. She has culinary intuition. This means that utilizing her senses, she can identify foods and the ingredients used for them. She can verbally break down what goes into a dish and use this knowledge to create incredible food. She does this via gut instinct, smell, and taste. The longer she is able to smell and/or taste the food (or "food"), the better perception she acquires. This allows her to detect poisons and magic hidden within and identify them. Her gut instinct is the least reliable out of the three methods; if she can't smell or taste the treat, then she may have a "bad feeling" or a particular vibe about it but won't be able to identify what's included in it.

She can then recreate the dishes she's analyzed, but she requires the ingredients and time to make it. She is looking to improve her skills to include magical food with various effects. She notably has magic but cannot cast it. Being that this is a work-in-progress enhancement of her intuition skill, it is currently at the lowest possible level. Luna can only make normal food. She can spot magic within a dish, but she hasn't figured out how to make magical dishes yet.

Biography: Lunetta Decadence was born in a small town to a spider and a mage. They lived in the country somewhere in Southern United States. They lived with a community of spider people like her mother. They had various local stores, a few chain stores, and two schools. One school was huge and more like two schools joined together; this was the primary school. They had kindergarten through eighth grade in this one building that was split up based on grade. The older students were on the higher level floors. The second school was the high school. This was where the girl received her education. She conversed with spiders and learned French from her wizard father.

All of her life, she wanted to become a chef. She watched the cooking shows on various home networks and was glued to the screen whenever one was on. She particularly loved the baking shows like Cake Boss where they created fabulous cakes and goodies with all kinds of beautiful designs. She helped her mom cook meals in the kitchen. She bought cook books and read them religiously. It was her dream to become a master chef and create fine cuisine for people. Her parents did what they could and bought various ingredients so she could practice making simple foods. She discovered her culinary intuition when she tried out new specialty waffles that were at IHOP. She easily identified all the ingredients used to make the waffles after just taking one bite.

She graduated high school with high honors and applied to various culinary institutes throughout her senior year. However, they all rejected her. Either they claimed that they no longer had spots available or they were scared off by her mutant appearance when she arrived to be interviewed. This left her distraught as she tried to find a way to continue her dreams. It seemed she had no hope of leaving her hometown to become a chef. Just as she was about to give up, a letter arrived. She opened it to find it was an acceptance letter to an odd place called Starlight Academy. She had never heard of the college, but she was eager to have been accepted somewhere. She said goodbye to her family and friends before flying out to Manta Carlos Island.

When she arrived at Manta Carlos Island, just like any typical college, they wanted her to complete her general courses before she could take courses for her major. Thanks to her determination and hard work ethic, she was able to complete two years of college within just one packed year full of courses. However, this also sacrificed her free time, and she was unable to do anything of note or merit. Now that she has a relaxed schedule and nothing but courses for her major, she hopes to socialize more with her fellow classmates and have fun adventures.

Additional Information: Lulu gets very excited when you request food from her. It takes very little effort to get her to bake something for you.
