Appearance Description: Tall and slender, she stands at 5'8" without heels; her long hair is mid-thigh length, black to silver ombre dyed. Her skin is considered pale by Native standards, due to her mixed heritage. She is short an eye, and her lids on said eye are permanently fused shut; her working eye is a deep blue-gray. She prefers "witchy" clothing--loose, flowy, long and with many different fabric textures (she's particularly fond of lightweight material such as chiffon mixed with heavier velvet or brocade accents) and drapery styles.


Personality Description: Remi has a tendency to come off as aloof; she doesn't emote well, and tends to be rather introverted, preferring to spend time with herself rather than others, though this is something she's trying to improve upon after her relocation to Starlight Academy. She is friendly, if not a bit socially awkward and perhaps a bit too nervous. But she's trying--she was given a chance at a new life, and she certainly isn't going to waste it by being a grinch and not trying new things, even if they seem a little scary at first.

    • Remi takes having an "out of body" experience to a whole new level; while she can only do it for a certain amount of time (in a quieter environment with less stress and more concentration, she can project herself for up to 15 minutes.) She's particularly good at inhabiting the bodies of weak-willed animals of lower intelligence, such as rabbits and birds. It's harder for her to stay out of a body, as it requires more focus and concentration for her.

  • Lycanthropic Ablities
    • Remi can transform into animals that are roughly her same size (so, she cannot turn into a raven for example.) Right now it requires a lot of meditation and concentration for her to be able to accomplish this, and it often helps if she has a picture of the animal she is trying to transform into to focus on. The transformation is still an incredibly painful process; currently, her quickest form is as a large black and white Alaskan Malamute. The process for this form takes 10-20 minutes depending on the situation and how quickly she's pushing herself--the less time she gives the transformation, the longer the pain lasts afterwards. It isn't a skill that she particularly enjoys using, but is trying to get better with it nonetheless.

Biography: Remi grew up on the Fort Belknap reserve in north central Montana, USA. While natives born with strange powers aren't necessarily uncommon, Remi's mother insisted that they hide it from her father, a traditionally gun-toting beer-loving white man who knew of no such things; ("If he can't handle 'President Obummer' then he certainly can't handle knowing what we're capable of" were her exact words.) Unfortunately, Montana was the last place Remi wanted to stay, particularly with her family, as she and her father never got along and often resorted to physical violence when dealing with each other. She dropped out of high school at age 16 and went on the run with her then-boyfriend; they got as far as Wyoming before they broke up and he abandoned her at a roadside motel. With only a suitcase of her few belongings and $20 cash, she made use of the good weather and walked to Cheyenne, only to be picked up by local police, responding to the missing children's file on her, and dragged her back home. It was then that her mother contacted a friend in Starlight Academy, and gave Remi her ticket out.


Worst Memory: A fight with her father; he threw a beer bottle at her and she lost her eye.
Best Memory: The first footstep on the Manta Carlos Islands.
