Appearance Description:
A hotblooded man with a thirst for power and knowledge that eclipses the number of atoms in the universe, Nero is a man with crimson hair and black eyes that burn with a fiery passion. His posture is no different as it exudes energy and his clothing generally accentuate his tall stature and slim but strong physique such as his usual white sleeveless shirt with a popped up collar and long flowing tie. In addition to his wardrobe, he also uses loose fitting black pants, a waist bandana and long black gloves when out in the general public.
When in a truly serious fight or in a situation where true care must be inputted, his demeanor and posture calm down his features and he begins to appears tranquil, kind and observant. This is a sign that there will be no holding back, and the enemy should prepare themselves for his final assault.
Personality Description:
Raised in poverty to become a man among men and lead the way for a new generation of slum kids, Nero can best be described as a man with big ambitions and a big heart. He is dauntless and brave ready to lead the way to those that may fear a path of change but caring enough to understand the worries each individual may face in their path. A natural born leader, he seeks the council of those he considers part of his team and always take their words in consideration and generally comes off as affable
Sadly however, his way of life is seen as dangerous and impulsive, yet Nero would have it no other way. He disregards personal safety to attain any chance within and outside the battlefield. He's also quite boisterous and a bit too friendly so he may be tiring or even downright annoying to most people that can't tolerate him. He tries his best to understand to not be a bother, but he just hasn't grasped the concept of subtlety very well.
Lastly, he is downright horrible with girls unless they're still around elementary school age. He's generally a good caretaker of children and loves their free spirit and energy, but once girls hit a certain age, they tend to become... complicated for him. His one true regret is that he will never have a girlfriend, but then he just swears to himself he'll try his best to find one when his (everlasting) training is finished.

Freestyle Brawler Intense Spirit!:
As a young child, his mother had taught him the values of a warrior and how to best protect himself from the dangers that loomed outwards. Under her tutelage, Nero trained and honed his fighting style until he created his very own. Incorporating moves from various martial arts, he primarily focuses on quick combos with a good combination of fist and leg attacks in order to keep pummeling on the enemy as best he can without giving them too much leeway.
His number one component in his battle style is his speed and air combos generally trying to leave his opponent helpless in order to gain an advantage. He also prides himself on his speed because if necessary he can move slightly faster than the human eye can perceive but only if it's to side-step or get behind an opponent and not for general movement across the vicinity.
Soul Gauge: Blazing Ambition!:
Aside from leaving his opponents helpless, he also dishes out combos in order to increase the power of his Soul Gauge. A Soul Gauge is an innate ability that allows Nero to use the power of fire and transmit them towards his fists and legs to better damage his opponents. The Soul Gauge increases the more combos he lands on his enemies but has a huge drawback that whenever he uses any of his fire abilities, the Soul Gauge resets back to zero and he must start pummeling his opponents over again to use this ability.
The Soul Gauge for all its perks is a rather fickle mechanic because for example if Nero lands two hits in the first post, and one more in his second post without using the Soul Gauge the combo is still ongoing but if he misses one hit or does not attack in the next post, the Soul Gauge resets. The maximum combo limit for the Soul Gauge is 10 consecutive straight hits and when reached he can put his hand to the ground to cause small explosion that can send people into the air for a short period of time.
Two hit combo= Weak Fire-infused punch or kick or fireball
Four hit combo= Stronger fire-infused attack, bigger fireball
Six hit combo= Fire aura to defend himself and stamina recovery
Eight hit combo= Fire-infused megaton punch or kick to send opponents far away.
Ten hit combo= Small classroom-sized ground based explosion to send them to the air.
His fire can also be shot out as a fireball, but generally travels at a rather slow pace and he can also cover himself in a fire aura in order to damage anyone who tries to attack him in that state but in only lasts for about 10 seconds (2 posts) at best before dwindling and needing to recharge. Lastly, his Soul Gauge can recover his stamina to keep fighting, but it does not heal any of his injuries in any way.
Biography
Nero was born in the hands of poverty in a family that would eventually incorporate seven children. As the oldest of the family, his mother and father taught him how to be a proper boy and take care of his siblings and do general maintenance around the house. So far, his life would have turned out to be rather normal if only for one factor that came into play the minute he could use both his hands and feet and that was his absolute love of martial arts.
From the beginning of his life, his parents weren't exactly the best caretakers and generally forgot about Nero and do housework so it ended up being him that cleaned up their messes, but in exchange, he would always be gifted by a small martial arts lesson from his mother everyday while his father taught him what a true man's responsibilities were and how to properly protect those he loved.
It all started when he was about six, the young tyke had decided to practice shadow boxing on his own to become strong like his parents and in his emulation his parents supported him and soon thereafter a grueling training session was about to begin for the young child but one that he would never forget.
His mother began to commit trials for him to accomplish, to run on a set time limit, to hold his breath underwater for a set time limit, to fight and win under a set time limit and forever keep increasing his time to surpass everything that was confronting him and giving him doubts. The training was gruesome, but his fiery passion to improve his lot in life gave him drive to continue and better himself until no other man could best him. He swore to become there and now, a man among men with no rival to stand in his path.
This arduous spirit of his attracted the other young kids of his neighborhood and his younger siblings to become fascinated and take them as his leader. Too many times had the nastier kids from the other parts of the slums had come to terrorized his small little home, but Nero along with some help, fended them off giving him fighting experience and so continued his life until he came of the age of twelve.
While fending off the last group of wannabe gangster in his areas, his rage had gotten the best of him in one of scuffles and he ended up pummeling one of the kids to hard landing a fire-based punch to his shirt. Luckily for both, the last attack had come off as weak so the kid only needed small time in the hospital, but this event baffled Nero and in questioning himself, he asked his parents if they could potentially know something about what he had experienced.
Turns out, this was not at all unexpected and his parents began to show their true history. They had both been fighters honing their skills in a far off island no one had heard off in the northern hemisphere and he as their son had inherited their fire based Soul Gauge. Knowing that it had been activated, Nero's parent's knew they would have very few time to spend with their eldest son before his letter from the Academy would arrive so they began to train him harder and better than before for the remaining three years.
He learned all the proper concepts and taught a few self-defense skills to his siblings and friends in order to defend themselves from bullies as finally it was time for him to depart to a land unknown. The government had found them and had requested for him to move to a place called Starlight Academy and while reluctant, he took the option for he could better improve himself as a person and better yet as a freestyle brawler.

He tends to try to act cool, yet generally fails and when giving out advice they tend to be very sound unless it's matters of the heart. Also for those surprised, he actually puts the same amount of energy from fighting into studying calling them his "fiercest mental battles" and generally does well in exams.
