The latter is an act; whenever she sees the opportunity for someone to inflict pain on her, she tends to subconsciously push their buttons so that they'll snap on her. She is fighting against this now and trying to remain her usual sweet self, but sometimes the urge to get hurt is way too strong for her. She also has a bloodlust problem, but she takes it out on herself. This makes her a dangerous person to enrage. Piss her off too much, and she will outright snap and turn violent. While she is untrained due to circumstances, she is still not an ideal person to anger.
She can play the cello and violin. She is very into plays and musicals. She's read a decent amount of books, but she's not really an avid reader. She can cook, but she has an issue with liking to burn herself a little too much. As you can guess, BDSM really turns her on. She was the oldest princess of the clan. She was given royal training and expected to fulfill various duties as a princess. Her expected elegance and grace as a royal greatly contradicted her inherent bloodlust. She struggled to keep it under control. She didn't want to act upon it, but she didn't know what to do with herself. This led her to accidentally kill her grandfather and a noble dragon from another family that was allied with them during a meeting. In horror, she ran away from her duties.
While she was technically an exile from her kingdom, her family continued searching for her. Her family is still trying to find her. She went on to try many things and live out her life solo. She learned how to do various tasks in order to support herself and ended up in a life that was a wild adventure that took her throughout various parts of the world. She started falling into a terrible habit. To atone for her sins, she turned to self-harm. She at first was doing this as punishment, but then she became addicted to the pain and started putting herself through more dangerous situations. Eventually she started hooking up with unhealthy influences. She dated males and females that would beat her and mistreat her. She allowed herself to be the punching bag because she thought she deserved it and she enjoyed it.
Her last ex almost killed her, and she was forced to go into one of those special homes where they protect domestic abuse victims.
