Personality Description: Aedan has odd quirks, such as his lack of sense during conversations, but besides that he appears to be your typical college kid. No one would be able to tell he was abducted as a child and raised to the age of 15 not knowing who his family was.
Powers: Aedan is of the Corletts clan. Few recognize the name, but in certain communities, it can inspire fear or praise. The Corletts are alchemists who have natural born talent. For Aedanm that means:
Biography:
Aedan is one of three children. He didn't know that until he was fifteen. He actually didn't even know his real name until then. He was taken as an infant, and raised in some sort of lab, with other child subjects. He never knew who took him. All he knew was he was given instructions, and told to complete them. Eventually, those instructions got more and more dangerous. He was taught basic alchemy when he was only six years old. By ten he had mastered many forbidden forms. His entire life had been constant tests of what he learned. Soon they had Aedan experimenting with what he learned. That was the mistake his captor's made. Aedan knew of the outside world. Some of the other children he knew for short periods of time at the labs were taken older than he was, and told him stories of it. Aedan was inspired to see it, and so after months of attempting to change himself, he finally learned to fade. The building was designed to keep people out, not gases.
After escape, he spent a year wandering until he finally was reunited with his family in Ireland. He met his brother, sister, mother, and father for the first time he could remember at the age of sixteen.

- Alchemy: he knows and can write many different marks, seals, and circles to create various constructs or 'modified' tools. A construct is various marks combined to create complex actions. Constructs are often objects, or areas covered in different types of marks to do actions such a change a material, reshape a material, or detect. The three main marks is sentience [subsets : sense, process, and record], force [subsets : push, pull, and dense{+/-}] and change [subsets : materialize, form, and transfer] (Example construct: A stone cube with marks of force on sides and bottom for movement, and a mark of sense on the front to detect a set object [me]. The cube would propel itself to follow me. My own pet rock.) The difference between modified tools and constructs, is a construct is completely dedicated to being construct, and had no prior purpose. A modified tool is an object re-purposed to have an alchemical use. (i.e. a plain stone cube that is chalked with marks would be a construct, while a knife with markings of force to give it more penetration would be a modified tool) Alchemy is useful, but can easily back-fire or fail. All it takes is creativity.
- self transmutation: he has learned something frowned upon by many in the magic world. During his time in 'captivity' he was forced to attempt and pioneer abandoned and forbidden alchemy techniques. One he had successfully mastered was self transmutation. He can rearrange and directly modify his body. Self transmutation played a large part in his escape from his captors. He specialized in lessening his density to a point he actually formed a smoke like material. While faded he can move in fluid motion, but at a limited speed and easily altered by the environment (he hates fans, wind, small breezes, etc). He had trouble attempting any other self transmutation, with a high failure rate.
