[Main-Passive] Energy Draining: Toby drains the energy of everyone around him. This draining is passive and he has no way to turn it off. It is nonlethal--the results of his draining is steadily dropping energy levels and the urge to go somewhere and sleep, forgetting anything important they might have had to do in favor of just lazing around. They remain in this exhausted state until they leave his presence. Once out of his range (which is about 10-15 feet), their energy will replenish naturally from eating and sleeping.
Because of this power, Toby has no energy of his own. If left alone he will continue expending the energy he's leeched from others, but once that runs out, without someone to leech energy from, he becomes lethargic and lazy himself. Everything about him begins to go slower--his heart rate, his breathing, even his blinking. Everything slows down.
[Sub-Passive] Eidetic Memory: Toby can remember things he's been exposed to without trying. This means he remembers every book he's read, every sight he's seen, and everything he's ever learned or been told about someone else. He is not omniscient, and only knows and remembers things that he was around to hear, see, or otherwise experience.
Despite remembering everything he's ever experienced, his body is not able to replicate everything he remembers. For example, if he sees and hears someone playing a tune on the cello, he would be able to hum the tune, but he would be unable to play it on the cello because he simply doesn't know how to play a cello. Seeing someone perform a complicated physical maneuver leaves him with a clear memory of the maneuver, but he cannot do the maneuver himself.
[Sub-Passive] Immortality: As the child of a demon prince, he can bounce back from just about anything.

Toby doesn't know who his mother is. All he knows is that he was dropped off at the steps of hell's palace shortly after being born, and was raised with his biological father and his half-siblings.
The demon was very different from his kin--for one, when many of them seemed to prefer to be lazy, he was always excited to do things with others and craved attention and fun.
Because if his power, his father grew weary of having him around fairly quickly and sent him away to Manta Carlos. He was told it was to spread the feelings of inaction and sloth, but it was also just because Toby was an exhausting child.
