WANTED: BROTHEL EMPLOYEES

I have been doing this (I mean, hopping from forum to forum, joining communities, and roleplaying in all sorts of environments) for 13 years. And the year that is about to start (september 2016-september 2017) might very well be the last. So yeah, to go out with a bang, to say farewell to a passion that has been with me for so long, I wanted to join a new community, one I had never been a member of before, one with an original setting, an immersive world, and a community full of great people. And when, upon checking out this forum which I found by mere chance via Google, I decided to have a look at the wanted ads, only to find that the very first topic in there was titled "Wanted: brothel employees", I knew this was the place for me. Because if you guys are so mature, so intelligent, so good at posting, that you can confidently roleplay a brothel without it becoming a pathetic excuse to do some Ikea Porn, without it becoming, in the words of the topic starter, a "get out of NSFW free card", then this is the place I want to be. Because believe me, after 13 years of forums, I have seen so much immaturity, so much childishness, so much (bad) porn with (bad) plot, that I now truly crave something different, to make some good memories for when the day I must quit roleplaying inevitably comes.

A few info about myself: I am 25, italian (meaning, GMT+1 timezone), male (but I like roleplaying female charachers, dun't judge me <.<), and I am a university student who is about to begin what will most likely be his last year of university... Which is why I said, I will probably have to stop roleplaying in one year's time: if I graduate and get a job, I will have to become a responsible adult, and I doubt that will leave me enough free time to roleplay, so yeah, I want to have as much fun as possible while I still can.
I live alone in a rented flat in Bologna, the city where I attend university: from time to time I have to go back to my hometown, to visit my parents... And well, for a plethora of reasons it would take too long to explain right now, it is impossible for me to roleplay, and/or to spend extensive amounts of time in the chat, while I am in my hometown. But don't worry, when such times happen, I will let you know beforehand.

For example, right now I am in my hometown, and in fact my time online is rather limited (I will have to log off very shortly): then why did I choose this moment to join? Because this coming tuesday I will be back in Bologna, completely free and ready to roleplay. And I already have a pretty clear idea for a character in my mind. So yeah, I figured that, if I manage to post my app at some point in the week-end, it will most likely be approved by tuesday, meaning that, once I'm back in Bologna, I'll be able to start roleplaying right away. This is what we call "optimizing time" ;)

Welp, this is all for now: glad to meet you all, here's hoping this can be the beginning of a wonderful year... And who knows? Maybe of many more: I don't like my chances of being able to roleplay after september 2017, but never say never...

When I said "mature", I didn't mean "a forum with rated M content". I meant that you, the people of the forum, are mature (enough to roleplay a brothel without it becoming NSFW land, at least), as opposed to the childish, immature people the internet is full of, who would just start posting bad porn. That is what won me over :)

Thank you guys for the warm welcome. Again, my days at my hometown are frantic (even now, I will have to dash immediately after posting), but I hope I'll manage to post my app, at least. Then, on tuesday, the true fun will start, and I am sure I will have no troubles making friends with people like you, you seem to be exactly the kind of people I like being around. I will surely stick around for one year, then we will see what real life has in store for me :)

Jokes aside, I once again thank you (mainly those who hadn't posted earlier) for welcoming me so warmly. You can expect my app to be posted within the next 24 hours, unless something happens IRL: after reading all the rules and guidelines about character creation, my idea is more or less complete, so yeah, once I get to posting, it shouldn't take long.

Owing to my past experience on combat-oriented forums, as well as my own passion for 2D fighting videogames, I have this tendency to always implement some sort of mechanic or gimmick for each character's fighting style. Since this does not seem to be a combat-oriented forum, I'll try to keep this tendency of mine to a minimum, hoping it won't be a problem :/

By the way, is there a list of taken faceclaims anywhere? Try as I may, I don't seem to be able to find it. Although, I sometimes fail to see things that are right in front of my nose, so yeah... I blame old age :/
