Subject/Work: Teaches two levels of Vampire Bloodlines, one for high school which is the basics, and a University that goes into the darker elements of the bloodlines and there leaders.
Appearance Description: 6'10 tall, long black hair with a purple tint, pale white skin, silver eyes (turns red when angry), and of course to two fangs usual of a vampire. When in beast form he stands 7' tall, has gray skin, large bat like wings and claws on hands and feet, all teeth turn into fangs.
Personality Description: Van is a gentleman yet a charmer. The ultimate smooth talker, but has a fatherly quality about him brought on by his long lifespan, but said lifespan has made him a bit world weary. He has a wit about that sharper than any blade, but only uses when he deems necessary (normally to embarrass a rival for a woman's heart). But he can be quite serious at times, especially when students are involved. As a teacher he's very calm and patient but will not hesitate to punish a student when need be. He deeply hates it when supernatural beings mis-use their powers, and believes in co-existing with the average human.
Powers: Enhanced physical attributes (stength, agility etc), can lift around 300 pounds and run 30 miles an hour, animal keen senses (can hear or smell blood), sense of smell is on part with the best hunting animal, able to hear conversations from half a mile away if he focused, and perfect vision as well as night vision.
Species Abilities: As a member of the wraith vampire line, Van is able to shift into a much more monstrous form. In this form his strength and senses are increased, in this form he's capable of lifting 1000 pounds, bis eyesight is increased to bald eagle levels. He also grows a pair of large bat like wings that grant flight. Can turn people into vampires via a bite but refuses to.
Biography: Born during the 1400s, he was the son of Ancient British farmers, and spent his first 24 years in peace. Until one day a group of vampires attacked by a group of vampires, trying to protect his home he's bitten by the vampire leader, spending a weak in a painful coma he awoak a vampire. Quickly driven away by his own village he spent the next few hundred or so years wandering the Earth aiding mankind from the shadows as he can, and has secretly aided in several ways. Aided in several wars and in over-throwing several dictators, including acting as the supernatural agent for the Allies during WWII. Was good friends with Jacobi Drago amd served under Jacobi's father in law General Thatch. Has been to the island several times but has now decided to settle down and become a teacher, at least for a while.
Additional Information: Having lived such a long time Van has full control of his thirst and lives off medical blood packs.
Has a fondness for women with odd hair color (blue, purple etc), but won't shy away from those with natural hair color.
Trained Aedan Drago in fencing.
