Maura smirked and ordered Berserker to tie the little man up. She was evil and she knew it. Berserker approched, neither of them knew of his double personality or anything. The girl started to doze off, Berserker would protect the two. When Maura ordered people to be tied it was assumed by Berserker that she decided against killing them. He was a bit disappointed seeing it would've been fun to kill someone after three days of not killing. But Berserker sighed moving to tie the boy up. Berserker always carried torture devices hidden on him. Rope was a thing he had on him at all times. Whether for hanging, or other murderious ideas but also for tying.

His eyes opened as Paul awakened from his sleep. He looked up and around, not quite sure why he was on the floor. "Hm..I must've fallen out of my bed or something. Wait..why is the floor so hard and cold?" After a few seconds he noticed Berserker in front of and his jaw hung open. He completely lost his voice trying to scream, then grasped for his sword but simply couldn't get a good grip on it.

Maura slept on the floor, Berserker took a grasp of the boy's sword and tossed it farther away. The beast caught ahold of his shoulders looking at him with a "What are you doing you idiot" look. He picked the boy up gently and showed him the sleeping wounded girl. She was pale, she looked ill he knew the boy would understand she needed caring for.

Paul had absolutely no clue what was happening. Why hadn't Corona said anything this whole time? Without his sword he wouldn't be able to transform. Why was this creature picking him up? He couldn't really see anything. He could tell there was a girl laying near him, but from his viewpoint and with his human eyes she actually looked dead.
"What are you doing, you monster!? Did you kill this girl!? Are you telling me to keep quiet because you'll kill me too! How could you!?" He tried struggling out of Berserker's arms, not caring for what it could do to him.

The girl moaned slightly in her sleep, she was very much so alive. She snored lightly, her insomnia always eased around Berserker. He watched her sleep half the time. He layed the boy gently down beside the girl motioning to her leg. He tried to show the boy it was wounded and she needed help. If not the monster could always chuck him out the door.

"..eh?" He realized what Berserker was trying to say and examined her leg. "What happened to her? She looks really hurt.. but.. I don't have any sort of medical training. I don't know what to do.. we need to get her to a hospital. She looks really sick.." He tried talking to Corona, but there was no response. He was starting to think that Corona took control while he was sleeping again. It's the only explanation for why he was out here. Exactly how often did this sort of thing happen?

He sighed hoping the boy would know something that would help his subborn master. Though he didn't dare speak seeing people assumed he couldn't and it was easier if he didn't. He seemed to back off, his master was subborn and not to mention she acted more like a 20 year old then a 13 year old. But Berserker was glad to have his friend.

"I said 'need', not 'possibly'. That means while I'm here, you're going to a hospital. Unless you know someone else with decent and trustworthy medical training? Now either you come with me or I knock you out and bring you." He stood up and looked around for his sword. Where did it go? He didn't feel very comfortable around something like Berserker without it.
Berserker held the blade, and shook his head. Meaning 'if something goes wrong with Maura I'll not only never give it back but...' By the beast's look one could easily figure out if any harm came to Maura he'd kill the boy. Also meaning if Maura got stuck in a foster home he'd kill the boy too. Maura squirmed, "No! I'm not getting stuck in some foster home!" She said annoyed, "I refuse to go there! They just want me to go with some people who are cruel and evil and I don't want to!" She said almost screaming like a little girl, though she was one.
He looked at Berserker sternly. Something about Paul had changed. He suddenly seemed a lot more confident now. This used to happen when Corona took control, but lately Paul's personality had been shifting a lot. Corona told him that it had to do with his training, and that when it was complete that his personality will have permanently changed.
"Give me the sword." He held out his hand. "If I wanted to harm her there are far easier and less obvious ways I could do it. That sword can't even cut living flesh."
