"Encyclopia..? Oh.. encyclopedia. Yeah.. Okay."

She nodded, she sighed looking at her bed. "You don't have to stay." She really wanted him to stay but she knew he had his own life and training and stuff he needed to do. She'd just figure things out with Berserker, besides how would she remain cold to him if she was around him for more time. She decided she couldn't have trust in people that weren't going to stick around.

"Er.. well.."

More like you can't stay. You have school work and training to do. Not to mention if you were to stay around her for as long as it took for her leg to heal, the school may get worried. I won't even mention what the demons may decide to do.

Well, he was right. He couldn't live there for a month. Whether or not he and Maura wanted him to, it just wouldn't work. He had no choice but to leave. "Maura... I'll come visit you okay?.. Both of you." He turned and extended his offer to Berserker.

She nodded, her sadness not showing. She wasn't going to feed into her sadness until he was gone. She seemed to know he could sense her emotions. She sighed "See ya around." She said a part of her knowing they weren't going to see eachother again for a while. She herself wasn't one for waiting on people, because that required trusting them. And if that trust was broken she knew she'd be hurt more.

Chances were she'd stay in the hospital overnight and then find a place to run to. She wasn't going to let her heart be broken again, it was self preservation.

He started to leave when something Corona said caused him to turn to her. "Maura.. if you aren't here when I come to visit you.... I'll come looking for you and bring you back here myself." He shot a glare to Berserker. "Whether or not you're against it. Understand?" Paul was a little unsure of saying things like that, he typically wasn't very authoritative, but Corona wasn't about to waste Paul's money, nor was he about to let the girl wander off and have her leg unable to ever fully heal because of it. He noticed Berserker always did what she wanted, even when it sometimes meant doing something he didn't like. And considering how Berserker had no choice but to go back to his own plane after a certain amount of time, he could simply stalk the girl until that happened, completely avoiding any conflict with Berserker. Or at least, that was his plan.

She sighed cursing in her mind, she didn't want to stick around. She wanted to desert and not stay put even if it meant her own harm. She looked at him wondering how he knew her plans. She wanted to hit him over the head partly because she was fusturated and didn't want to be hurt anymore. By him promising to come back only made her have something to dread because he might forget about her and not come back.

Berserker sighed, his hands were tied. If he disobeyed Maura he'd get stuck in the dark waiting place and she'd have no one to make sure she didn't get hurt. He'd do what she wanted but care for her at least. He had never gotten forced to the dark place, but he imagined if she got angry enough she would.

"Well? I didn't hear any confirmation from you that you'll stay here." The way she looked, Corona figured he had guessed correctly. Just like last time, she intended on leaving the hospital as soon as they left. Unfortunately for her plans, Corona was (most of the time) highly intelligent, and wasn't tricked very often. If he wasn't there, Paul would have left without giving it a second thought, though he knew that was partly because Paul didn't know of her until after the first situation had already come and gone.

She sighed, "Fine, but this is the only time I'm listening to you." She said with a annoyed look. The only reason she was upset was because someone actually had seen through her and figured it out. She didn't like hospitals and now she was going to have to put up with it whilst a guy went and had his happy little life and she laid in bed in pain. She didn't find it fair.

"Good girl." He smiled. "When you get out, how about I take you out to dinner somewhere? Would that make you feel any better?" He wasn't sure how she felt about eating at a restaurant. He probably should've asked Corona, but soon realized it probably didn't matter because Corona didn't comment on it. Which means he most likely wasn't sure, because he would have said something (whether positive or negative) if he was.

She sighed, "I truly don't care about a meal, I mean it's only a meal. You don't have to worry about my stomach, it'll be fine." She said with a sigh, she liked his friendship but was used to people hurting her or leaving her to fend for herself. Leaving her broken with her heart in pieces. Since she had little friends she got very attached to those she had. She didn't want another friend to let her down, she didn't like the fact of more promises that would end up broken. She hated promises because for her it always ended with her crying and convincing herself everything they said and did was lies. Therefore if she kept away from them she saved herself the pain that came from losing a dear friend.
