"...Won't the townspeople be afraid of you? No offense, but you aren't exactly um...normal looking."

Berserker shook his head, still walking. He never talked to a human so why start? He would continue to aviod questions let he had been doing his whole life. If he was normal people would be quite surprised at how handsome he would've been. His past unknown to everyone, never to be discovered by the lips which said no word. Maura layed in his arms comfortably staying unconcious. The girl was in complete ease around him.

"...Are you like, physically unable to speak? Or something? You've never said anything this whole time. You may be frightening looking but I doubt you're voice is scary enough to make me run away. So what's the deal here?" He still wish he knew the girl's name, at least. And what affiliation she had with the creature.

He said not a word nor any attempt to communicate with the boy. He wanted no friends besides Maura, Maura loved him when everyone hated him or looked at him as if he were a beast. The fact was Maura looked past outward appearances and saw the friend she wanted. A sweet loyal loving guy that just happened to look terrible. But she looked at him as if he was her own father. For all Maura knew he possibly could've been her father. She knew nothing of Berserker's past, she only knew of future.

"...So you still aren't going to answer me." He looked ahead and noticed the lights of the buildings in the city. They were getting close. His vision was incredibly distorted due to the rain droplets on his glasses. He couldn't dry them, either, because his shirt was all wet too. He was pretty much completely unable to make out any detail.

"...So you still aren't going to answer me." Berserker said no words, Maura slept in the beast's arms. Berserker took a cloth that was dry and handed it to the boy. Noticing his glasses looked a bit erm... unseeable. The last thing Berserker needed was him to bang into something and pass out. So he decided best to just help the poor kid. Berserker would've carried him into town but decided the boy would probably not like the beast carrying him.

"Oh...thank you." He wasn't quite sure where this dry cloth came from, but decided not to question it and dried his glasses with it. "Did.. you want it back?" He had secretly hoped the creature would say yes... he kept having weird thoughts of where the cloth had actually came from.

"Oh...thank you."

The monster raised a eyebrow at the boy's odd behavior towards him giving him the dry cloth. He wondered why the boy would be a bit odd about it.

"Did.. you want it back?"

Berserker raised a eyebrow, he sighed taking the cloth which he then tossed away. He didn't realize that the boy wanted to see where he got it from. Nor would the boy ever know where he got it from. Berserker hid many things on him, it was habit to hide everything even from people he knew. Though being with Maura she knew just about everything about him. She knew where everything he stored was because she often saw him withdraw items, like knives, rope, and many others.

When they had reached the entrance to the city, he looked back at Berserker questioningly. "So..what do we do about your... frightening appearance? Cause like.. I don't think it'll help the girl's case any if there is a monster carrying her around and I'm next to you.. and.. yeah..."

He shrugged, and offered him to hold the girl. He said nothing, but he figured the boy would understand once they entered the city. He wasn't seeable to those without powers. So he was non-existant to them, only to the powered people he was seeable. But they would see Maura floating if he held the girl.
