Berserker slowed his pace for the girl, Maura relaxed though the pain had been quite dreadful. She didn't want to be put in another home and deal with people. She smiled at Berserker, "I missed you, you know I had the longest dream about you. Ya know one of these days we'll be able to rid the world of bad people. Then no one will hurt no one, and I and you can finally be happy." What she talked about was riding the world of anyone who could start trouble. It was twisted to want to kill everyone in order to save everyone, but it was the only way in her mind.

She enjoyed the deaths of people, sending them into another life far better than their earthly one. She knew it was wrong, but it didn't matter to her. Her killing was important, though she wouldn't be able to for a good month. She usually killed men though, some women, but she killed both good and evil. For each good she killed 3 evil.

As he started walking back, Corona had wondered why he hadn't been attacked by any sort of demon in a while. The last thing he was attacked by was one of Lesset's undead lizard men.. which he apparently was planning to mass produce. But he hadn't received any word of it since then. Of course, he was cut off from any of Heaven's intel since he entered Paul's body. Who knows what could be happening up there right now.

Maura had left his mind for several minutes as he began to miss his home. Until he snapped out of it and remembered he had a job to do. Then suddenly, he had an idea.

"RAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWRAR!" He yelled out quite loudly, not pretending to be an animal or anything, just curious to what reaction he would get from such a loud yell.

Maura rolled her eyes, seeing him. "Your a real numbskull aren't you?" She said looking at him as if he was a idiot. "I had thought of thanking you, but now I have no want to." She said to him with a raised eyebrow, "What were you calling undead lizards?" She said annoyed, she meant to say gizards, meaning guts. But it came out lizards oddly. Berserker was quiet looking at the man distrustfully.

He was quite surprised, and glad, to see them there. He was beginning to think she got away from him. "I guess you really are alive. Good, cause I didn't want to be made out to be a liar, ya know? How is your leg doing?" he started walking closer to them as if they were both friends.

"I guess you really are alive. Good, cause I didn't want to be made out to be a liar, ya know? How is your leg doing?"

She eyed him, as well as Berserker. She thought of the newspaper clipping, "Erm... my leg is there that's all the matters." She said whimpering slightly as it throbbed with pain. She looked at him, her leg was more healed then it was. But it still wasn't completely healed from the shot. Especially her leg since it had broken when it was shot, though of course she didn't say that.

She had it in a cast at the thigh, she had shot herself just above the knee. If she had hit the knee she would've never walked on that leg again her knee would've shattered. She whimpered again as another throb of pain filled her leg. Berserker took on the look of a worried puppy worrying over it's owner.

"Tough kid." He walked closer to her again and reached into his pocket and pulled out the newspaper clipping. "I believe this belongs to you." he handed it over to her, then put his hand in his other pocket and took out then gun he had taken from her and handed it to her handle-first. "And this."

"Tough kid."

"What do you care?" She said slightly annoyed at the man, she wasn't one to be nice or attack people. Besides the fact she couldn't if she needed to. Which annoyed her even more, she just needed to find a place to stay since the hotel wouldn't let her stay there because of the accident.

"I believe this belongs to you."

She looked at him annoyed, "You obiviously stole it didn't you? So much for you being a goodie goodie." She said with a sigh, she winced with the pain. The pain reliever was wearing off, it hurt so much. But she was used to pain, pain in her heart, soul, and mind. She was so used to it, she only had happiness when she killed.

"And this."

He handed her the gun as well, she raised her eyebrow. "You trust me with this? I thought you were afraid I'd kill the world and create too much pain in the world." She said her eyebrow staying raised as she waited for his answer. She winced again, it throbbed so terribly.

"One." He held his pointer finger up as he began to lecture her. "I saved your life, you really should be more grateful. It is quite rude to act like nothing happened." His middle finger raised with his pointer finger now. "Two. I took the newspaper clipping because I figured it was special to you and was unsure if you would ever see it again once you went to the hospital. I assumed you would never go to that hotel again. I took the gun for similar reasons." His ring finger raised now as well. "Three. Revenge and conflict rarely solve issues. Being kind to your enemy generally yields better results."

He had to remind himself that she was a young girl of the material plane when he wondered why he had to explain his actions to her. How was he supposed to know that she - apparently - lived in that hotel? He thought hotels were the same as inns.. don't people usually stay there temporarily? He reminded himself once again of her immature mind and decided not to bother her nor himself further with it.

"Well it was your fault I shot myself, I was tired. I have insomnia." She said annoyed slightly, "Besides I am more grateful then I should be. I wasn't going to attack you anyway, I warned you many times verbally and you acted like a meanie." She said wincing again.

"Two. I took the newspaper clipping because I figured it was special to you and was unsure if you would ever see it again once you went to the hospital. I assumed you would never go to that hotel again. I took the gun for similar reasons."

"I lived there." She said flatly, she said no more. She didn't explain, she handed the clipping back to him. "If you didn't read it you can read it again. I'm Maura Keturah." She explained.

"Three. Revenge and conflict rarely solve issues. Being kind to your enemy generally yields better results."

"So your pretty much only being nice so I'm nice to you." She said with a annoyed look. "See Berserker, all people are the same." She said with a sigh.

What the frick was with this girl? He didn't think he had ever met a more pessimistic person. From the newspaper clipping, he figured that she probably was indeed a human. That combined with her young age and horrific past would explain her attitude. He wasn't even sure what to say to her now.

"Do you honestly think all people of this world are evil? Harming them doesn't make you any better, if that's what you think. Cleansing them from the world only makes the world worse, not better." He moved his right hand to her shoulder. "I know that you believe your actions are good, but they really aren't. Do you think you're avenging your parents doing this?"
