Miya could hardly contain her excitement as classes were let out. The day had finally come after all the arrangements were made for Eve to paint while she played! She could hardly sit still during class! What kept her sitting still mostly was due to the head injury she had obtained a few days prior. It wasn't bleeding or bad, she mostly just got headaches from it that she couldn't take aspirin to deal with.

Miya increased her pace as she walked to the music room. She didn't know if Eve was there or not, but she was going to make sure she had everything set up before they began. Miya was wearing her long coat like normal with a white t-shirt underneath and black jeans. She had a change of clothes in her back pack for an idea she had later, if Eve allowed it. Her hair was tied back with the bandage showing as it made a sort of headband around her head. She had gotten the bandage changed that morning so she didn't have to worry about it too much.

Miya walked into the music room and didn't register anything other then setting up. The piano was already in position which made Miya make a small squeal of joy to herself. She walked up to the piano and set her things down under the bench and began tuning it to make sure everything was to the sound she wanted while humming to herself as she went about her business.

Finally. Finally, all papers were settled and all people they had to talk to agreed. Eve was finally on her way to the academy, and she was going to paint Miya there in just a few minutes.

She headed there with her friend Deith, who was kind enough to drive her there with his black car, and her painting materials sat safely in the trunk. The trip was silent, small conversations were made, mostly Eve just ranted about how excited she was and Deith would ask more about this Miya person.

He also promised he wasn't going to do anything funny to the girl.

They parked in one corner of the parking area near the gate, and Deith helped Eve gather the art materials. Unlike her usual style, the artist was wearing presentable clothes today, a lose and thin wide-necked long-sleeved white top, black skinnies, and a pair of ankle-high leather boots. Her hair was tied up to a high pony tail, and not a messy one today. She looked a few years younger than her usual face this way. Deith was in a black dress shirt and fitted white jeans meanwhile, and a pair of fancy leather shoes. Somehow, they looked out of place while getting their stuff, and while on the way to the music room.

They had already checked the room a few days ago so it wasn't troublesome to get there today. Eve twisted the knob, pushed the door open, and knocked on its surface gently. "Helloooo..? Miya dear, are you here..?"

While Eve had the lighter materials, Deith was carrying the huge wooden stand for the canvas. He chuckled as they entered, finding Eve adorably childish.

Miya had placed attached her MP3 player to the stereo she normally used to help with sounds that weren't a piano. She decided to start with some jazz while she waited for Eve to show up. As she started, Miya had even started to sing while she played just because she was in such a good mood.

It hadn't even registered that anyone had opened the door and called out to her because she was singing and playing. She had looked up and saw a man carrying a canvas with Eve enter the room. Miya was at a vocal break when she noticed then and decided to continue the song anyway. While she was slightly embarrassed with someone she didn't know hearing her, Eve being there made it feel less.

"Eve! Hey! Ohmygod the fun can start now. I'm so excited to see you! I'd run down and hug you but, well, had a small mishap a couple of days ago. See this?" Miya parted her hair and showed the bandage that it was hiding and pointed to it, "Kinda got his with a flying rock. I can still play though, Nurse cleared me for that. Sooooooooo, whose your friend?"

The music filled the air and Eve can't help but skip and giggle as she and Deith came inside. No way was she going to interrupt Miya, either. She was amazed to see her play at last, and the music was vibrant and beautiful and... to put it simply, it was strong and she felt it, on the goosebumps on her skin and on the beats in her chest. Deith was just as adoring to the music, but he didn't skip in joy like Eve, he only set the canvas stand in a good spot while grinning.

When she was finally finished though, Eve quickly ran to her back and hugged her from behind, but Miya showed her the bandages and she scrambled away from her. Not so far away though.

"Oh no, are you okay?" Her hands went to Miya's shoulders, squeezing them gently as she took a good look on the bandages. Her brows were wrinkled in a worried manner. "...Don't abuse yourself, okay? If you feel like something's wrong, just say it so we can rest."

"Ah, I've never seen you so caring about others, Eve~" Deith's teasing voice pierced its way through the air. He was smiling a mischievous smile, one that usually sent out a message that he shouldn't be trusted. He's finished setting the stand, and was standing in the middle of the room beside it, hands hanging from his jeans' front pockets as his thumbs served like hooks on the cloth. He was smiling at both of the ladies, but he eventually turned to Miya. The way he was smiling made him look like he wasn't nineteen... though technically he really wasn't.

"I'm Deith, sweetheart. Deith Rosenn. Eve's most faithful client."

"Oh yeah." Eve giggled, pointing a thumb to his direction as she smiled at Miya. "He's a friend and a special client. Technically the only reason I'm in this island right now."

"And you're welcome, Eve." Deith smirked.

And Eve rolled her eyes and shook her head, but in a joking manner. "Well, thank you, Deith. Now then, shall we get started?"

Miya enjoyed the hug and nodded her head. She was alright, no headaches or anything like that. She made sure she would still be able to play today and had rested enough. On the chance something happened, well, the phone wasn't that far away. Miya was glad to know Eve was worried, knowing that she could rely on her.

Now the other guy, Deith, was making Miya feel a little wary. He was handsome she'd admit that. But something else seemed off. She couldn't put her tongue on it, but she figured it was just because it was someone new she was meeting. Nothing to be too concerned about for the moment. Miya turned around in her chair an gave Eve her own hug, letting go after a minute and diving straight into her music bag.

"You two sound adorable you know that? Anyway yeah we can get started. Just depends on the type of music you want to start with. I got many different genres I can play, audio track included for pieces that need it. Go ahead and take a look through and see if anything strikes your fancy. Just be careful with the sheets alright? Most are copies, but rather not see them tore up."

"We're adorable?" The two asked in chorus, their faces twisted in disbelief, but only in a joking manner. And then Deith grinned, Eve laughed, before the artist carefully held the music sheets. She wasn't an expert in reading them, but she could see which one was slow or fast or quiet or dynamic, and there were the titles too, which she always believed were enough to know what a piece was enough.

"Hmm... I'm not really sure. But. For what I had in mind, I wanted something powerful and passionate. With forceful notes and all that." She smiled at Miya, giving her stuff back. And then she took a few steps back to the canvas stand. She set up the canvas and placed her bag down by the stand's foot.

It was only then when she got to look around the room. Bright and quiet, it looked like a music room from a high school anime where emo music kids would randomly sneak into just to play the piano. For some reason, Eve thought it wasn't just an anime thing, because Miya looked like she was one of those emo music kids in real life. Manta Carlos really was amazing, she thought.

"Deith, your turn."

"Right."

The seemingly young man was standing beside the artist. With a single snap of his fingers, the music room was immediately clouded by purple mist, until there was nothing else could be seen, aside from the three of them and the materials needed for the piece.

And then another snap. Suddenly, they were in a pale and picturesque setting, in the middle of a seemingly war-torn street surrounded by crumbling buildings and debris. The sky was gray, and the world was paler than usual, as if everything was being viewed from a camera set to make everything duller yet deeper.

Eve grinned in awe as she looked around. "This is great."

"Now don't you two start walking around," Deith warned, though he was also grinning because he was amused, mostly at Eve's reaction. "These are all illusions to help Eve paint. If you walk around, you'll end up hitting the music room's wall at some point. Because we didn't really move from our spot a while ago."

"Powerful and passionate huh?"

Miya had to think for a moment on that one. She picked up her folder and began going through it trying to see if any piece she had with her would fit well. She hadn't even taken note of what they were setting up or doing till the light disappeared a bit. Looking up Miya noticed the strange atmosphere. Listening to what Deith had said she figured it was some kind of magic he had.

It was still weird. She had only been expecting to play for Eve and now had another person as well who she knew nothing about. Given how the two spoke along with what Eve had mentioned then it was safe to feel at ease around him. If he was the reason she was on the island then things were alright. She hoped anyway, but time would only tell.

Miya looked around more at setting that was created. It looked like something out of a war movie. Now she had something she could use to think of a piece. She didn't have that many that would fit off the top of her head but she had one that might work.

"Yeah I think I got a couple in mind. Just have to see if I actually have the sheet music with me. Only a few pieces I have memorized, and that isn't one of them. Hmm...Can't use the synthesizer at the moment....Hmm maybe this'll work."

Miya opened up the rings in her binder and removed one of the pieces, carefully setting it on the piano stand before removing the sheet music from it. This would be nearly perfect for the type of music she wanted. Or for the time being, a warm up.

"Alright this one should work. If it's not what you're working for I'll switch to another one. Ready?"

Miya turned around briefly to set her binder down along with changing the track on her MP3 player to match with what she was about to start playing. Back facing the pair Miya took in a deep breath and exhaled as her hands came to rest on the keyboard. She would wait till given the okay from Eve to start, having taken her right shoe off and her toe on the play button to start the accompanying music. She had done this so many times this was habit to her.

Her body moved with the music increasing its movement as she moved down the keyboard, slowing down when it need to . It was how she naturally played and she did it unconsciously. She knew she did it from people telling her, but she wasn't aware when she was in the act.

Right from the beginning, the song was already quite upbeat, despite being soft in volume. It gave the illusion of an eerie, sad, and gray place, with the soft taps that helped with the rhythm creating sounds that resembled footsteps, light but quick footsteps, coming from but one person. It would echo in such an empty place, which fit Deith's illusions perfectly.

The demon grinned and nodded approvingly. Eve on the other hand, froze as her system took the music in and tried to fuse it with the scenery surrounding them. "Perfect. That's... That's perfect, Miya."

She glanced at the ruined buildings. Suddenly, they were much more gray than Deith made them to be, as were the skies. She quickly grabbed her palette and squeezed some gray, black, and white paint on it, before grabbing her thickest brush and smudging the colors into it, and painting her canvas gray on the outside.

And then the music changed. There were harder notes, louder notes, and the strokes Eve made reflected that. At first, they wouldn't see what she was painting, but slowly, silhouettes of the ruins around Miya started taking shape. The piano was taking shape. Miya was taking shape.

The music was too fast, though. The notes suddenly felt like they were chasing each other, and then they'd suddenly explode and...

Eve saw it all in her head. Fire surrounding Miya, softly and rhythmically pulsating to the beat of the music for a moment, before exploding into big dancing walls of red and orange around her. And Miya fueled them with her passion as she played the piano. Eve had it all in her head just before the piece finished.

Grinning, she continued painting, working on the base colors for the fire first. Deith watched her from the side, as the painter's own passion flowed out to her strokes. The focused look in her eyes was priceless, she looked hypnotized by her own creation and imagination, forcing her to paint and paint and paint and not look away until she had to change colors or brush. And then she'd continue, eventually getting into the smaller and more specific details.

Miya's playing and movements became more wild and passionate as the song went on. She was lost in the music. The world had shaped into something else within her mind as she played and basically blocked out everything as she did. All that mattered was the noise emitting from the piano and the notes connecting. She had almost all but forgotten why she was playing until it came to a finish.

Miya looked out as her piece finished and she saw Eve furiously going at her canvas. Miya tilted her head a bit curious but knew she couldn't see it till it was finished. But how to continue she wondered? She had a few more pieces in mind to keep with the same style. Quickly shuffling pages and finding the right accompaniment track, Miya's hands came to rest on the piano as she started up once more.

Miya knew this piece wasn't focused entirely on the piano and the piano part was simply to underlay the other instruments, but given the scenery behind her Miya believed it would work perfectly. There were times the piano was soft and unheard, but Miya was still moving and keeping up with the music. She just hoped the background instruments along with the song itself wasn't all that sad for Eve and Deith to listen to.

(Cue out the baby crying noises, they wouldn't have been in Miya's background tracks)

It was really amusing and adorable, this sight Deith was seeing anyway: two artists lost in their art. Eve even had this really serious expression on her face while painting, and Deith could see how fast images were taking form on her canvas. He could already recognize Miya, and the flames' silhouette was starting to become more alive.

Deith cleared his throat, hoping it would at least get some attention. "Ladies, don't forget to breathe," he chuckled. That seemed to snap Eve out, as she slowed down and eventually paused, before turning her head to Miya again, but not to copy her image this time.

"Miya, dear," the piano was soft for this piece Miya was playing, but Eve still worried that she might strain herself eventually. "Take it easy, okay? Don't tire yourself out."

Eve went back to painting after a while. She was starting to work with the smaller details, on the flames first and then on Miya's clothes.
