The mid-morning on the beach had some people coming and going like the energy of the tide. Seagulls cried in the distance and stood on guard in the air and by the shore. The air was cool, the tide was low. The sky looked like it was reflecting the sea, blue on blue. The sky was so extraordinarily blue today, without a cloud in the sky. Today was going to be a good day, Nerina sensed.

Lanslo was beside her. She found him on the beach a few minutes ago, looking for the same person, though perhaps not the same reasons as she was. She was merely curious about him. She wanted to learn more about the world with Orion, but first she had to tell him what she knew so far about the world.

They were retracing the steps they took a night before when the spaceship crashed, and then they met a man which they christened Orion Sevengill. They could find it from both of their collective memories. Nerina came from a few hundred metres from the cliffs, and headed diagonally toward the shore. Lanslo could piece together his own memory and combine their collective knowledge to trace the crash site. But it was nowhere to be seen.

"Do you think lobster is too heavy for lunch?" Nerina asked Lanslo. "I have other ingredients too. I wonder if Orion will show up."

Lanslo enjoyed the ocean's smell, and the gritty sand. The seagulls cawing above them ,as they scavenged for bits and pieces of food visitors left behind. Lanslo always loved the beach, but then again, he always loved any nature. Always a good place to set up a crime scene. That and his powers allowed him to look at the outdoors a whole new way. Then, he met Nerina. He smiled at the red head girl as she approached him. So, they searched. They were looking for the mysterious Orion, the spaceman that crashed on the beach not long ago. But where was the crash sight?

"Mmm lobster. No, I think it will be fine. Maybe we could make a salad for a side?' He liked salads. But he liked meaty things more. And no, it wasn't because of his wolf shifting abilities. Not to be mistaken for werewolf abilities. There was a big difference. Lanslo kept his eyes peeled for a man with dark purple hair, and yellow eyes. 'Please let him have some clothes' he thought. He'd left his coat with him, so hopefully he would still be wearing it. He would have to wash it when he got it back, though.

Lanslo's mind kept wondering back to the spacecraft Orion had. He wished he could have taken better looks at it. I mean, he was a detective genius, and a spaceman crashed his spacecraft on a beach he was walking on. He had to know more. Where had he come from, where exactly was he going? What was it like where he was. So many questions that needed answers. Then in the distance Lanslo squinted to see. It looked like a person. He tapped Nerina's arm. "Look!"

The crash site had changed rather dramatically since it was last visited, which had not been all that long ago. Where once there lay wreckage of a fuselage and metal debris everywhere, there now was mostly clean sand and several metal poles sticking out of the ground. The fuselage itself had, somehow, been pushed to the side somewhat and it was no longer burning nor sparking. Amongst the clean up in progress was Orion, thankfully wearing clothes. He was wearing the long coat Lanslo had given him, correctly this time around, and a pair of pants he had scavenged from somewhere.

Orion himself was busy shoving one of the metal poles deeper into the sand, checking to make sure it was standing up straight, then making adjustments. His back was turned to them so he did not take notice of them immediately. Occasionally, he would look up and seemingly talk to someone, or speak into his metal glove, then get back to his work. Orion was too far away to hear what he was saying.

It was during one of those conversations that he finally noticed the pair, and looking a little surprised for a moment. He turned to look at the ship one last time, then turned to face the pair, waving excitedly and beckoning them over.

"Hey! Hey! Hey! Over here! Helloooooooo!"
