Love is in the air....and water.....and now your body....

Tess smiled tenderly at the his simple words. These kinds of thing that would mean nothing, unless someone was really in love. Or thought to be. She was a little surprised when he slid his tongue into her mouth but she parted her lips a little to let allow it and continued playing with his hair.

Yeah, she was pretty sure this was considered making out, something she wasn't accustomed to. But it wasn't so awkward with Zach because she knew he didn't care. She moved her own tongue around a little, to meet his so she didn't seem uninterested. She was very interested. Not just in kissing but just being. Talking, laughing the other non physical activities you did when you are in love. Of course there was time for that. Right now, she was enjoying being physicly connected to him. Kissing definitely brought a physical closeness to some one that nothing else did. To Tess it was something very personal but she knew other people didn't care if they wasted their kisses. But she did. And she knee that he was the right choice. He was perfect.

Despite being under a love potion, Tess still had her senses about her. Her heart was pounding and her mind racing trying to decide what to do. Who was she kidding, she knew that this could spiral somewhere quickly and that in itself was not what she wanted. She backed up for a second and placed a hand on his face.

"Why don't we slow it down a little. We wouldn't want to do anything we'll regret."

Still, she wanted to be near him. She liked the feeling of his arms around her, simply enjoying him being next to her. She wasn't sure what to do now but as long as they were together it didn't matter. Together? We're together? Where had that thought come from? Little did Tess know that the potion's power had been strong but it's affects did not last so long for she did not drink very much. But still, it drained off slowly, a little at a time. But what would happen when none was left?

Tess was glad the he wasn't upset or disappointed. See this was why she l- liked him. Wait was she going to say love? Wait- were they- and what had they said? Reaching the last bit, the potion finished quickly, like water down a drain. Tess blinked a few times before feeling blushing from what felt like head to toe.

"Um..um, I think something just happened and I can't explain it."

Yes, the potion was gone and it left Tess feeling her normal self. She was mortified. What had she done? She drank water, sweet water, and ran into a tree and then she noticed Zach. She walked a few steps to where they had been and picked up her water bottle. Zach had drank from it and fell over, exposing a flirtatious Eden. Then she drank it and...

"The water, Zach. Something is wrong with the water I'm almost 100% sure. And also 100% embrasssed.

Alessandra could do nothing but stand in disbelief as she recalled what she could. I didn't... Yep ya did. Way to mess that one up Tess. Now what will he think of you? He drank the water too! This wasn't one sided. Poor Zach blurted out that he was sorry and while she is did feel terrible for being under a potion, she didn't regret all of it. She cleared her throat and summoned up her courage.

"To love someone, it is something that takes time and builds over memories. But to like someone, in a way of more than just a friend, that is easily distinguishable. I find that part of me is glad that this happened."

She closed her eyes and hoped that she didn't scare him away. They both seemed crazy over what just happened and now they were left with no hype and more to explain than they thought. Now all she could think of was what he would say.

Tess smiled, although she was convinced that something was off. He was not exactly feeling the same way. A pang of pain surged through her but she brushed it off. She didn't have time for that.

"I am sure that there are other bottles all over the island and other people drank them. There's no harm done."

Still, she swallowed and the feeling of uneasiness crept back over her. This night was just one strange thing after another. She had no idea what to feel, what she was supposed to feel or what she was expected to feel. Relationships of any sort were complicated.

She looked to the ground, pondering what to do but for once she was just out of ideas and knowledge. She was tired in many ways and she wasn't sure what would go down from here. She closed her eyes and pictured her family back home. What would her Mom tell her to do?
