Love is in the air....and water.....and now your body....

Tess told herself that it was all going to be okay, as she felt the tip of his nose make contact with her face. She opened and closed her hand against her sides and continued to look down. She fidgeted a little, feeling temporarily better, knowing he didn't want to hurt her. Her stomach plinged however when he started talking about the people he's killed. He said Zach enjoyed it or probably did but she refused to beleive him.

Would she still be friends with Zach, could she still? She couldn't think straight at the moment and if she made it out of this, she certainly had a lot to clear up.

"I'd appreciate it if you let Zach come back out. I might be able to understand this...situation better. And I'd appreciate it if you'd please back up."

She placed and hand on his chest and gently tried to push him back. Whatever she did, she did not want to anger him.

Tess wrinkled her nose as Eden attempted at using a term of endearment. She did not like it. This sotuation was starting to really bother her and not jusy in a way of being afraid. She let out a quiet annoyed sigh and pondered her options. She could leave but what if Eden did something stupid that could end up hurting Zach? As his friend she had to stick around.

"Well, just because..."

Her sentence was cut short as he starting leaning or practically falling to her. She let out a small scream as she stepped back, her reflexes snapping in quickly. He long skirt got caught under her foot, however, and it pulled her down to the ground. She sat there dazed, unsure of what exactly just happened.

Suddenly, all was quite. Eden uh Zach seemed to become quite. And then suddenly he started talking. And he was indeed Zach. Very upset at himself, too. She had to explain it.

"It's not what you think. Nothing so terrible happened, only you fell forward so I tripped on my skirt and fell. It's all okay, I promise, please don't hurt yourself."

She sat on her knees and leaned forward, wrapping her arms around his neck. She wanted him to know that her friendship was unconditional. They could work it out, somehow, and as cheesy as it sounded, together.

"That water...it did something strange... Eden wasn't very mean, just kinda flirtatious"

She stopped talking and buried her head into his neck, feeling rleief that the situation was over. Her heart started pounding at a normal rate again. She let out a relieved sigh.

Tess wasn't sure what to do Zach. She didn't feel like discussing what Eden said, this night, so she figured she'd just push it aside for then and calm him down.

"It's okay, I promise. We were talking and then you drank your water and then fell to the ground. I guess Eden woke up or however that works? Um he told me about his name and some stuff and he said he understood why you chose me as a friend. I think that's what he said. He commented on my...appearance though. And he said I had him spinning or something like that."

The more she thought, the .ore Alessandra was thoroughly confused. Were they two separate people who one controlled and the other was in a coma like condition, or was there some of both of them in there? Surely when Eden was killing Zach would have tried to stop it... She stopped thinking about it. She just wanted to help her friend.

Alessandra nodded. By the way he had been acting she figured he had meant that she had him interested romantically. Which made no sense whatsoever but that's what it seemed like. She couldn't ingore what seemed to clear to her.

"Yes, that story. Now that you're here maybe we can talk to someone about you-um- your powers and see if there's anything you-we can do."

She gave his shoulder a rub before pulling away. She stood up and paced back and forth, biting her lip, a newfound habit she supposed. She was trying to tell herself that nothing Eden said was relevant or reliable but she had to wonder if he knew anything about what Zach said...or felt.
