Appearance Description: Considering his race, he looks incredibly human. Aside from a set of rather sharp fangs and a scar that runs across his chest and down his abdomen, Liatris appears to be a handsome young man in his twenties. He is however, a djinn with a more unique trait than most. And even though he sports modern clothes they’re still somewhat reminiscent of what he wore millennia ago. He doesn’t live in a lamp or a bottle, instead he chooses to reside in an earing which has a unique gem.
Personality Description: Back in his younger days he was definitely a high energy djinn. While still a bit energetic he’s calmed down and isn’t as reckless. He has a strong sense of justice and loyalty to those he considers friends and peers. As a detective, he’s very good at what he does. He often challenges members of his race that he encounters to duels while hiding the fact that he is a djinn. In that sense he’s a bit of a trickster few people would know him aside from his brother. He’s actually very protective of his kind in the instances where he did encounter them. He has been awake for centuries, however he’s been masterless for the entirety of that time into the current present day.
Powers: As stated before Liatrus is a djinn, and he’s of the non-wish granting variety. Which makes him a guardian type. He sports standard djinn abilities such as immortality and the ability to levitate and teleport. Unlike many of his non-wish granting peers he hasn’t a single element that he claims control over. This is however where he becomes a unique entity.
Power Mimicry: Liatris can copy another person's powers and use them as his own. He can only copy one person's abilities at a time and he has to either touch the power or make contact with the person. Unless he's copied the person's abilities before hand or retains them over a prolonged period he has only the basest knowledge on how they work. Holding a person's abilities for too long however can have negative effects in the sense that the owners personality traits may overwrite his own after a while.
Shapeshifting: How his ability to mimic a human in terms of his appearance is unknown. But he's lived in this form for centuries fooling many people. Most people now don't even know what he looks like as a djinn.
Biography: He spent his earliest years with his brother, playing, adventuring, and being stupid reckless. Of course, time separated them for several centuries and the two had their share of good and bad masters. Liatris didn’t know his brother had gone to sleep a few centuries earlier when he came back looking for him. He wasn’t able to even find his lamp, which caused him to sink into a deep depression. In spite of this he couldn’t just bring himself to go dormant. Time moved on and he’d actively assist other djinn wishing to escape their masters, manipulating circumstances so that they were just right for escape. When his brethren were mostly asleep he opted to move to Manta Carlos roughly 20 years prior, attended school, and became a detective. He was pursuing a lead off the island when he managed to get frozen in an iceberg. It was at this point that he sensed a familiar presence coming from his home base, his dear brother had managed to wash up on the beach. He has currently returned, keeping an eye on his brother, and resuming his duties.
