Appearance Description: Korvu’s appearance is oddly angelic for a demon. Long, pale blond curls ring his head, giving him a halo in certain lights when it reflects just so. His cheeks have a rosy flush compared to the rest of his pale skin, such that it makes them seem very pinchable to the grown-ups who dote upon him. His eyes are molten chocolate brown, wide and round as a curious toddler's are. He gives off a slight warm aura, no where near his mother's strength of heat but it will likely grow as he does.
Korvu stands at about three and a half feet, a small and rather pudgy child. Most of his pudge is located at his cheeks and stomach, with a good amount on his arms and legs. The kid dresses in just about whatever his mom decides to dress him in, which is, with no overstatement, usually the cutest thing she can find, such as a sailor's uniform or a mommy and me shirt.
This, of course, is only when he's not angry. Since he has yet to grow into having a full demon form, when Korvu gets upset and lights on fire he gains a pair of tiny dark horns on his forehead and his eyes change colour to black. The horns are barely an inch long, the base merely a few centimeters in diameter. Those two small changes are just enough to make his angelic features seem dark and evil.
Personality Description: Korvu is rather sullen and silent, constantly pouting over one thing or another. While he is vaguely aware that he’s a rather spoiled brat he really doesn't care. He doesn't care much for other kids, or even other members of his own family. He’ll only ever acknowledge the existence of his parents and a few of his cousins and siblings his age. He's quick to anger, however most indirect insults go right over his head.
Korvu has a serious soft spot for animals, from tiny spiders to giant whales. He does as much as he can to rescue the non-poisonous bugs that don't count as pests, and even a few that do, and frequently drags his mother to each and every exhibit in the zoo. The easiest way to get his attention is to hold one out, and the easiest way to make him explode is to step on and squish a spider or other bug

Species Abilities: As the child of the hell prince of wrath, Korvu often falls into sudden fits of rage over the smallest things. When this happens, Korvu quite violently explodes in more ways than one. With the usual screaming and stomping and violently throwing toys, Korvu’s entire body will light on fire and incinerate anything highly flamable in a two foot radius, singing everything in a four foot radius. He has no control over this, even if he has something in the blast range he wants to keep safe. As a result, most of his possessions are made from clay or metal, and all fabrics have to be enchanted to be fire resistant. Korvu stays lit for approximately five minutes after the initial explosion, in which he has learned to stay put and not touch anything until the fire dies out.
Just as most of the other hellions, religious symbols and related materials cause discomfort. His fire can't burn them quite as easily as normal materials.
Biography: Korvu’s mother was a fire elemental name Kasiviian, who had once resided in the heart of a volcano, both god and demon for the surrounding island. She was well known for her sudden fits of rage, as she would often incinerate those who approached her wishing to have her as a servant before even hearing their offer. After a consistent string of mages and a few demons bothering her as she tried to sleep, Kasiviian caused the eruption to slaughter the entirety of Scietos. Afterwards, she swam through the core of the earth to any uninhabited volcano, erupting it at the time when it would cause the most disaster. Moments after a particularly violent eruption, while the fire elemental rested, a demon from the wrath circle of a particular version of hell managed to complete the ritual to enslave her. Kasiviian was not content to let it rest there, giving the demon too much power when he attempted to cast a spell and burning him from the inside out.
Kasiviian had no way back to earth, so she chose to wander the circle of hell, razing everything in her path. At some point she began to be hunted down by Satan and his brothers. They cornered her at one of the farthest parts of the realm, however instead of having her tortured or sealed away, Kasiviian was bound to Satan as a servant.
A few hundred years later, Korvu was born. He was kept far from his mother, as no one was quite sure which of the two parents he would take after. It wasn't long until his first explosion, nearly incinerating his nursemaid after she tried to give him a bath. After that, Korvu was kept close to his mother in hopes that she would train him to control his powers. Kasiviian wanted nothing to do with her child, and as soon as he was old enough, they shipped him off to Starlight Academy in hopes that they would have better luck.
