"I have seen your architecture in your various cities. It is both functional and artistic at the same time, I believe you would be well suited to the task."
In actuality, Cytus had very little experience in architecture of buildings that weren't constrained to the underground...or in ice. On Earth, the notion of building underground even in places like Antarctica was a rarity, and when people did it, they did so using practices that would seem downright dangerous on Aridia.
Despite rules about asking about people about certain taboo subjects, Cytus often enjoyed the questions, and did not hesitate to tell people about what had happened to her and her species. An operator was supposed to make sure that the species didn't die out, or at the very least, would be remembered when they did.
"My home planet was destroyed by a supernova. A small group of us escaped 2 years before the event happened, so I do not know if anyone is still alive, for now I must assume they are not."
If she could smile however, Cytus certainly would at this point.
"I will learn to be useful. It will come in time, as will yours. I must leave to return to the front desk since many are still ill. You may come visit if you wish. I would enjoy the company."
