Plot Ideas:
-Learning about magical vulnerability somehow. I want the fear of god put into this arrogant son of a bitch.
-Any Arsenal fans want a friendly rivalry with a Spurs fan? No, probably not. Some kind of sport-related rivalry could be fun, though.
-Enemies would be so much fun. Someone with a moral backbone, perhaps.
-Falling in love with a mortal lass could be lots of fun angst, but that'd have to be a long plotline 'cause it'd take a lot to get him there. I'd be picky about this one.

Hey there!

I'm new and am currently making my character, but I would be up for threading with you! I know my character is going to have strong morals, and generally he tries to do at least one good deed a day. He's not going to be a student (probably going to be some sort of security officer if it is ok'ed) and his ability is to shift into a sparrow.

Perhaps the two of them could be in the library and looking into their ancestors or something, trying to figure out anything they should know about their abilities that hasn't been told to them?

Er, hi. I'm new, too, but my character is apparently approved now. I'm not sure how much time I'd have between school work and the writing month on another forum, but..

When you say "magical vulnerability" do you mean the possibility of your character getting hurt by magic? Or are you talking about flaws that go along with the power that your character has? (e.g. Immortal, fine, but you're still not going to just walk away from being melted into a puddle of goo with no problems.)

Anyways, Calloway will gladly kick down anybody who's too full of himself. Since Nathan is immortal and Calloway has no powers, that process will probably involve lots of normally lethal chemical cocktails.

Although, Calloway is also pretty amoral... So might not really fit what you're looking for. Just um. Let me know. So far I'm just poking the forums and seeing what comes up. Mostly kind of lurking at this point.

That sounds like a great idea to me! I'd love to see where it goes. I've been looking forward to pitting Nate against a physically older person, so I'm very excited haha. When you end up getting accepted, just start a thread and let me know. Or let me know and wait for me to start one. I don't mind. :3

I do indeed mean the possibility of him getting hurt by magic. He is only able to recover from physical damage; like you said, there's no coming back from being turned into goo. And don't worry about Calloway being amoral; I can see a lot to work with here. I mean, Nate's mostly distant because of the whole not-aging thing, rather than being a naturally cold-hearted kind of guy, so he might see a bit more of himself in Calloway than he'd be entirely comfortable with. I can see them really not getting along. ;D Also the whole chemical warfare thing would be way, way not cool with Nate. Way not cool. See: Nate's history with mustard gas.

No rush if you're just kind of lurking at this point, of course. Just let me know if you start a thread or want me to start one. I'm also absolutely fine with taking it slow if you're busy. :3

Ah..Don't worry about my lurking. I can be coaxed out easily enough (unless it's a Wednesday or a Tuesday...) I'd rather you start the thread, though, since I'm still pretty unfamiliar with this place. Whenever is fine. =)

Not sure if I'd be any use here but!

Savannah is an age old person, immortal? Nope. Ageless? Yeah. She's a magical/mythical fox spirit who's been around for a century. She's seen a lot of hot heads and such in her time through the ages. Savannah has a strong old fashioned moral sense, you could say she lives in the past still in how she thinks. They might conflict in this area particular? Who knows! Anything could happen right?
