Yoka Sake was dressed appropriately for the cold. The owner of the Cross Fox was promoting her business by offering Free Hot Chocolate. Actually, most of the businesses in the City seemed to be doing so.
It was absolutely frigid outside. A light snow was falling and within minutes of being outside, her nose turned pink and she bundled her scarf further around her. The roads were hard to navigate right now and travel was difficult in the weather, which transformed the town into a beautiful--though cold--winter wonderland.
"Hot chocolate and Irish coffee," she called out. "Free, come warm yourself up!"
She was serving hot chocolate at a booth set up right before a tank. The tank had a picture of jumping foxes forming an X. It was definitely eyecatching, but truthfully, it was because Yoka was worried as to how she was going to get home in all the snow.
"Hot chocolate?" she offered a cup to someone walking by.
