Yoka looked at Cynthia and tapped her bottom lip.

"I've offered Mr. Murphy here an internship, but he hasn't had a chance to visit the club yet," Yoka said, trying to fill Cynthia in with a single facial expression. She wasn't sure how to convey HE DOESNT KNOW WE ARE STRIPPERS with only the slight fluttering of her lashes but she tried it.

"Oh!" Yoka said. "You should bring your roomate to the club with you. Cynthia, it could be fun, we could all have a nice dinner or something."

Yoka had food on the brain.

"Cynthia, murphy, what are your thoughts on sushi platters?"

Cynthia looked up from her phone to look at Murphy for a second, new intern? Yeah ok, she didnt detect any of what Yoka was trying to get across. "Whatever... dont be a perv at least."

Sushi, Cynthia was a cat spirit so she was supposed to love fish, but she was a vegetarian. "Do they have veggie sushi? As long as they have that ill go I guess."

Murphy began to relax as the warm cocoa began to take effect and he eagerly took another drink. Cynthia's response wasn't exactly something he'd hoped to hear from a potential future coworker but he did his best to remain professional. "I will endeavor to do so, though I don't see that being an issue." He nods before turning back to Yoka.

"A kind offer, Miss Sake but I believe that my roommate prefers, er, solitude rather than company of any sort if our previous conversations have been any indicator. Nonetheless I do want to try to get him out of the house a bit, maybe a club would be good for him."

He cocked his head a bit at the mention of sushi. Murphy enjoyed the dish for the most part but thanks to his luck he usually ended up with some level of food poisoning after eating anything raw. Though with Yoka's powers around perhaps it would be fine.

"I... tend to stick to the more thoroughly cooked dishes in japanese cuisine because of my... well... gifts. Why?"

Yoka nodded at Cynthia and Murphy.

"Cynthia is one of my most reliable employees, and she's worked for me longer than most of the others," Yoka said. Of course, this was because Yoka had fired the no-good tengu manager that she'd left inplace when she was gone to America.

She smiled at the idea of Murphy bringing his roommate to the club. "We have something for all tastes. I'm sure we could find a way to entertain your roommate."

Yoka remembered Murphy's powers now and pursed her lips for just a moment, realizing that, perhaps, sushi was not the best idea.

"Perhaps pizza then? Something more American? It's hard to mess up food that's deep fried, although I'm sure you have a story to tell about that?"

Cynthia sighed, she disliked eating with people that had such unrefined pallets. Not trying sushi because it wasnt thoroughly cooked, it was like something a child would say. Pizza was fine though...

She enjoyed the praise from Yoka, but hoped she wouldnt have to be the one to "entertain" this new kids roommate.

"Yeah ok, im fine with Pizza too I guess."

Murphy shrugged. His roommate's 'tastes' were hardly the issue, it was the whole antisocial, emotionless, possibly killer thing that worried him. Still, if anyone could handle him it would have to be her wouldn't it?

"Pizza's always fine by me, although any food is fine as long as you're there to offset me right? I mean, I wouldn't want to limit anything just because I'm a poor dining companion. I could just not eat if you were to get sushi."

Catalina Embers walked through the cold. She was lucky that she had the tendency to wear turtlenecks anyway, but now she had added a scarf and warm, cotton gloves. She had no affinity to ice and the cold, but it didn't bother has as much as it might have other people. She liked the way it nipped her nose and turned her cheeks an ever brighter red than they normally were.

Still, when Catalina's attention was captured by a tank with two foxes creating an X she noticed the group hovering around it. Not only was her curiosity piqued, Catalina liked being in crowded spaces where she enjoyed physical contact from many sources.

She turned sharply and made way to the group with a confident step. She rose her chin high to meet any gaze that caught hers, and donned a coquettish little half smile.

"Well, don't this look like a nice little gathering," she said once she'd stepped up to them.
