Winter arrived, and the holidays were roaring in. The end of the year signaled celebration. Even if they didn't care for the religions attached to each holiday, demons could and did party during this time frame. The princes were no exception; they wanted to have fun and take a break from ruling. (Though that certainly didn't stop them from their usual debauchery...) They decided to host a giant party for all of their children. Initial thoughts were to have a private dinner in Hell, but Lucifer had other ideas. He instead wanted to make it a festive bonanza where they could invite ALL the demons and Hell folk. Mammon and Asmodeus completely agreed; Satan lacked any objections; Leviathan mumbled a bit over it but ultimately green lit it; Beelzebub and Belphegor did not care at all.

With the princes in (sort of) agreement, Lucifer then went to Mammon for assistance. If they were going to have this party, then they would have to go somewhere more neutral than Hell. Mammon pointed at Manta Carlos and recruited his son whom had been living there to find a place for them to host the party. This is how the princes were able to rent a space the size of two mansion smashed together for what was essentially a wild house party. The building was located in the middle of the wealthy district and directly connected to a Hell portal. This allowed guests from both Hell and Manta Carlos to attend in the method that was most convenient for them. The demon elite all received invitations, but it was an open party that allowed literally anyone to come. It's not like they would threaten the princes anyway.

Speaking of the princes, all of them were within the special VIP quarters set aside for them. Well, everyone except for Belphegor whom was late to yet another party. It was restricted of course, so no random person could just stroll right in. There was lots of food available and really expensive holiday decorations. Of course nothing with that stupid fat man in the red suit. There were definitely no decorations including religious symbols either. Notably Christmas was the birthday of at least one of the children, so there was a birthday table included. The butlers were taking the presents and organizing them in a separate gift room. The middle section was oriented towards the classy adults with a nice chatty and festive atmosphere. The two flanks were oriented to the younger crowd. The left side held the loud club/house party element with a dance floor and DJ. The right side held the children where there were multiple games and activities for them with energetic music playing.

It was organized chaos in one building. Organized chaos that roared for several days, because when the princes partied, they partied hard.

((OOC: This is a massively open thread. This means that there's no post order, no post rounds, and you can pop in at any time you want. Since this is demon-oriented, demons and youkai are more likely to show up, but you can come up with whatever reason you want. Maybe you're someone's guest; maybe you just happened to hear a really freaking loud party and saw the door was open.))

The usual hell holiday bash had come to Manta Carlos, and Klaus was damn well thrilled. He'd jumped at the opportunity when his father had called him up about helping out, and with his connections and powers, it'd been a piece of cake to snag the best place possible to host a fucking wild demonic party.

He'd been there super early to continue assisting with various things as well as chattering to his dad. Then when the party started settling in and gaining intensity, he was back and forth between pretty much every area. VIP quarters to check in with Mammon (or push his luck with bothering his uncles before he got shooed off). Middle area to chatter at some of his more important contacts, as well as introduce himself and ooze flashy energy to newer people. Left club esque space to make some noise and kiss some pretty babes. And finally the kid oriented side, to ruffle pretty much everyone's hair- especially after some of his lackeys had shown up to drop off Gladys, his adorable greed sibling and birthday girl! What a little charmer.

He also frequented the food tables and stuffed many of the interesting tiny desserts into his coat pockets. Listen. Sometimes you bring plastic bags to hell parties to hoard cute cakes and shit. It's perfectly normal. He also pretty much had a drink in his hand at all times, keeping a constant, fond eye on the alcohol table.

This was the best, a major improvement to the usual christmas parties really- and those had already been pretty sweet anyway!

Hell parties confirmed for best parties. Especially when he was involved.

Toby was excited.

Well, he hadn't been when he'd gotten the invite. The Sloth child hated being alone, and nothing really excited him when it first came. But the morning of the party he'd woken up blearily, contemplated going back to sleep.... until he got a nice jolt of energy from someone walking by his room and just like that he was dressed and out the door.

The streets were decently packed, and he entered the party and a rush made his whole body tingle.

The small demon wasn't just excited.

He!! Was!! So!!! Excited!!!!!!

Into the throng of demons he went, mingling and mixing with all manner of infernal people, chittering and chattering about anything and everything. His mouth ran a mile a minute, his brain ran on auto-pilot, everything was a blur of heat and synth-pop as he just reveled in being around people.

His dad didn't really understand this. As far as he knew, none of his siblings did. They were all about being in their own little worlds, absorbed in their own spaces and whatever they found the most interesting, but Toby was a people person. Er. People-demon? People-something.

He liked people, okay?

The teen's short tail waggled as he attempted to find his dad but was quickly shunted away from the VIP. His rain boots squeaked as he kicked the ground in a huff and went away. That's fine. He didn't wanna see his dad anyway. Uncle Satan and his kids were nicer to him anyways.

Toby made his way to the snack table, pushing between large horned beasts and reaching out a small hand to get some of the colorful cakes that wafted so sweetly he would never forget their mouth-watering scent.

Not that he would forget it anyway but.

Semantics.

Kasai entered the door, weaving through someone's heels. She smelled food. Good food. And there was a lot of people here who would give her little scratches behind her ear. This place was great, even better than the shelter place full of other critters like her. They didn't like it when she ran around there, so the little vixen-creature found escape when someone entered the door.

Now she was weaving through legs, little white tail bobbing happily as she searched for the source of that wonderfull smell. Kasai yipped loudly as someone accidentally stepped on her tail and bolted for the nearest hiding spot. Which happened to be under a table. A table covered with food.

This place was heaven

The little fox slid out from under the table cloth and stood up on her hind legs, nose resting ontop of the table. None of the food was within reach. Kasai would just have to find another way.
She turned away from the table and rested her front paws on the leg of one of the party attendants, giving them the cutest look she had and a slight whine... and was rewarded with a small piece of cake! Yay! Kasai wove around the house, doing simple tricks or begging to convince people to give her food.

Live had been completely shocked when an invitation had arrived for her. She had never received an invitation to a big party and definitely not a party like this. It was hard for her to be sure of why exactly she was receiving the invitation though. After all, Live wasn't actually a demon though her soul was partially so. Guess it counted enough.

She wasn't exactly sure how to dress though but she figured her typical clothes would be pretty well suited. She wore a long black skirt, black combat boots, and a midnight sky blue shirt. It wasn't anything that fancy really but she looked nice.

Of course, she had on her pentagram necklace but she also stuck on an assortment of other necklaces and bracelets. She was about to leave when she spotted one of her favorite rings. It had a big piece of gold tigers eye on it and it was beautiful. However, it wasn't just for ascetic purposes that Live slid the ring on her finger before leaving her room and shadow traveling to the party. She also wore it for the protective qualities of tigers eye. Not that a stone could protect her from demonic magic but she was about to go to a demon party and there would be all kids of strange energy there; some of which she didn't know much much she wanted it affecting her. The tigers eye was a small protective measure against that.

She arrived and made her way inside. The assortment of creatures made Live's head spin a bit. It was incredible the amount of demonic beings in one room. Live could feel the pull on her soul, their energy affecting her. As she moved farther into the building she felt her form shifting a bit. It wasn't enough to cause all shadows to lose their shits in the room, but it was enough that Live began to give off a black glow. Her hair in particular began to look more like swirling shadows from her head.

It made her a bit anxious honestly and she paused as she entered the center room, full of demons and food. She looked around suddenly unsure of why she was there. Oh right! Party, alcohol...

She spotted a table with booze on it and quickly made her way over. She grabbed a glass and filled it with whatever was in the giant bowl. She took a small sip, unsure of what she was about to ingest. She swallowed and then smiled; Jungle Juice!

The party was bright, the people were endless, and it was pretty damn difficult to stick to one thing for long or choose what to do next, but- oh, hey, cute goth girl alert. Amusing and adorable, as well as easy to go bother. She was hanging around the alcohol table, one of Klaus' favorite spots to be.

He hummed and felt at the magic as he slinked over, lesser and starry eyed demons automatically getting out of his way. Some kind of mild protection (funny, probably wouldn't help too much, but if it made her feel better, why not), and… there was demonic energy there he easily recognized, but it wasn't quite typical… curious, curious. Overall, very shadowy, in a figurative and very literal sense.

The greed demon grinned, took a sip of his own decently strong drink, then leaned on the table and offered shadow girl a wave. "Hiya, having a good time? Askin' both as a party organizer and in a purely social sense. I haven't met or seen you around before, either, and not knowing pretty people is always something I try to fix. Name's Klaus."

Live was filling up her second cup of Jungle Juice (she really couldn't get drunk fast enough) when tall lanky man found his way over to her. Now Live wasn't exactly a shy person but she also wasn't the best at socializing either. It made her uncomfortable honestly. However, this was her new life at Manta Carlos and she was making some changes!

"Oh, uh... Yeah, I'm Live." She said returning the wave. It looked awkward though as she almost spilled her drink somehow. She grimaced a bit at the man and did her best to shake it off. She didn't want to look lame at her first demon party.

Speaking of which, the energies in the room were making Live's power a bit harder to control. She didn't feel like the shadows in the room were reacting differently but her body...her body felt like it was being pulled into it's shadow form. It made sense; all this demon energy (the essence of her ability) was causing her human form to have less of a hold.

"The party is uh, well, the biggest one I've ever been to." As soon as she said it, she regretted it. Why did she just admit to being a complete loser?

Klaus' smile grew more amused, but he didn't laugh. Everyone had their firsts, and he didn't want to scare anyone off if they had potential. If you gave people a little encouragement when they were still stumbling, a lot of rewards could come from it later on. He had enough experience with others and looking after them to be confident in that.

"Live, got it. A pleasure." And that was sincere.

He raised an eyebrow at the less than stable magic flowing off her, the stuttering form trying to warp into something else.

"Well, welcome! It must be overwhelming," he hummed. "this is the biggest party for a lot of people, not just you, so don't feel too bad. Hell holidays, haha. Gotta go all out."

"You alright there, doll? There are some less chaotic edges of the building if you need a break. The festivities will be goin' on for days, so you don't have to rush this. Take your time, y'know?"

He would've liked to say he was kind enough to make the effort to mellow out his own aura of 'look at me' and ownership, but he wasn't. That was tiring, and he had to keep his power levels up in this environment, with his position. He was being as helpful as he could without sacrificing that.

Take your time or get blackout drunk, he mused, that was an option too. Her choice, in the long run.

It wasn't often that Live believed people when they said they were pleased to meet her (not that many people said that) but she believed this Klaus fellow. Maybe it was partly because she met him at a demon party, and demons were about the only creatures Live had come to trust.

"I gotta admit, I didn't know Hell celebrated the holidays. I mean, there's Halloween but Christmas isn't really something I would have imagined Satan getting down to." Live had a fairly decent knowledge of the demonic world but clearly there were still things she didn't yet know and understand.

Live didn't like that she didn't seem alright and that Klaus had noticed it. She shook her head quickly, the girl didn't like appearing weak. "No, I'm fine. Just need a few more drinks." She gestured to her cup and took another big gulp. Thankfully it didn't take much for the girl to get tipsy and she could already feel the first cup kicking in.

For a second the thought flashed through Live's mind that maybe, just maybe, getting drunk with her powers acting up wasn't the best idea. But the thought of being sober at a party, or leaving for that matter, quickly pushed the thought out of her mind. She would be fine!

"We take advantage of any excuse to go over the top," Klaus explained. "And christmas? Aw man, I love christmas. Commercialized celebration of material possessions, more like count me in." He laughed.

"Really though, it's been made appealing enough to general audiences, across different cultures, with a theme more around old men who deliver presents, magic sleighs pulled by reindeer, and elves- so as long as nobody shows up with crosses or a nativity scene, we're perfectly fine. Plenty of holiday spirit!"

The greed demon winked. "Seriously. It's totally all just an excuse for drinking and partying. You're fitting in fine, got nothin' to worry about."

He shrugged, and followed her lead, chugging his drink, then refilling it again with a flask from one of his many inner coat pockets. "Hey, if you say so, but let me know if you need anything."

His eyes were sharp under his sunglasses. Things were always bound to go wrong sometime in a party as big and as stuffed full of demons as this, but he was sure there were a few things he could deal with- or even fix quietly- before brute force security bumbled their way in.
