Live smiled at the boys words. She hated Christmas above just about any holiday but found herself enjoying Klaus perspective on it. To her it had always just been a bullshit time for family and caring (which didn't exist in the young girls life) however, she could get down to celebrating some material possessions.
She chuckled a bit. She could only imagine the reaction that would ensue from the more religious side of the holiday showing up at this party. She had a pretty good feeling though that no one from the "other side" would be showing up here tonight.
The Walker smirked a bit, "Well I'm always down for an excuse to drink." She couldn't say much about the partying though. She hadn't really been terribly popular, or even liked for that matter, back in Georgia so getting invited to parties never really happened. She guess this was probably the perfect place to really learn what a party was, surrounded by the only creatures who had ever understood her.
She took another big chug from her drink, finishing up the cup. She filled it again and took a sip. Those two cups would take a few minutes to kick in so she would let herself settle into her drunk while slowly sipping on this third cup.
"I'm pretty good at taking care of myself, but uh, thanks." Her monotone voice sounded awkward as she said the words. If there was one thing Live sucked at, it was social norms like please and thank you.
"So uh, if it's alright for me to ask," She paused for a moment, her eyes drifting down to her cup, "Who and uh, what exactly are you?" No offense was meant by the question and hopefully none would be taken. She was simply curious.
