"Oh, actually, my brother's here in the island now," Adelene grinned proudly. It's only been a couple of weeks since Alaude arrived, and despite having been apart for so long, it felt as though no distance grew between the siblings, especially since Adelene's memories have returned only recently and were still pretty fresh.

"He's a mechanic too, and he loves explosives... Um, I guess he's not entirely a mechanic since he was some kind of mercenary before... I think." She shrugged, and paused her storytelling only for a moment to eat. Even though there were still tears smeared on her temples, it seemed like her high spirits have already come back, and she was back to storytelling again after a few seconds. "I'd love to introduce him to you, but he didn't want to come with me today. Maybe some other time... if you don't mind? As for my father, I only know him by what I can remember and from what my brother told me. I know he's kind, but mysterious, and pretty scary considering he's the boss of some anti-criminal organization that feels more like a mafia than a vigilante group," she chuckled.

"Hmm. Alright. Welcome to come by anytime, just don't mess with my projects and he'll be fine."

He didn't mind. Another mechanic around isn't a bad thing. It's difficult for him to find anyone to talk shop with since most of the other mechanics are not even up to his level in skill. Hard to get a different perspective when he asks for it and people already tell him perspectives he has already thought of.

"Anti-crime group huh? Well he sounds like a good man. Then again my idea of dealing with criminal groups is a few blocks of C4, an RPG, and a bottle of whiskey. Not legal mind you and I'm not allowed to do it on the Island because of...Reasons. Let's go with that."

It was good she had family on the Island now. While he was worried, now he has no reason to anymore. Yeagar had a feeling there was someone else keeping her afloat in a different manner. Whoever Addy was hanging around was fairly lucky.

"This is rather nice. Been a while since I've actually sat here and bullshit with someone that wasn't Rob. I mean I love my work and my projects, but sometimes talking with another person is relaxing when it doesn't include work."

Adelene chuckled at those not-so-legal ways that Yeagar mentioned. She was fine with them, and strangely, it was mostly because she was familiar to those methods and scenes.

Even though they haven't spent a lot of time together just yet, Yeagar did feel like a parental figure to Adelene somehow. It was strange thing to admit, but as she's told him just a while ago, he was so much like her real father and brother. It was very easy to lighten up around him.

"I suppose I can't disagree," Adelene shrugged, while keeping her smile on her face, trying hard not to let her smirk slip. "An old lonely guy who's married to his work instead of a woman, an old lonely guy too scary for people to approach... It's understandable you'd enjoy chatting like this."

It wasn't like she was trying to tease him or anything... Not really.

"By the way Yeagar, where's that warm drink you promised? It's still kinda cold."

"Hey now least my work doesn't start an argument over a pair of shoes or if her hair looks bad. Or some other stupid shit like that."

Still it was obvious some nerve was struck with the small joke with the tiny eyebrow raise he gave her. Man this kid was sarcastic as hell and yet he enjoyed it. Someone had to be able to dish back what he served after all. Maybe she was right, but it was a strange kind of right. Well nothing too much to worry about for the time being, he had other things to worry about.

Getting up he walks over to a coffee pot on the other side of the office, reaching into a cabinet above. Well she was still a child maybe hot coco? He wasn't in the mood for coffee and didn't feel like wasting a pot if she was the only one going to drink it. Then there was, believe it or not, some raspberry tea Yeagar kept around. Even he enjoyed a glass every now and then.

"Hot chocolate or Raspberry tea? Not making coffee since it would just be a wasted pot for one person. Unless you want just a cup of hot water then I'm completely alright with giving you that."
