A small breeze of air sales through the park during the middle of the afternoon as kan was running along doing some light cardio. He was wearing a pair of black sweat pants and tennis shoes with a red tang top on. He was thinking of code in his head as he was jogging trying to think of the program he was going to write up for the next project they had coming up.
Whenever he had "writers block" exercise was always the thing he resorted to get through it. The rush of the runners high always made for great break through.
He began to slow down a tad as he reached a field of flowers through the park and had to slow down to enjoy them. There fresh new bloom of flowers during spring was always a sight to behold. But Before he new it SLAM! He flew down after bashing into something he toke a moment before he got up saying in a low tone. "Oh sorry didn't see you there do you need some help up?"

Noelle was celebrating her work being finished for the day by going outside. She decided to tried going to a new place, a park. It seemed like a popular place for walks and runs and that made sense. The day was pretty warm, not Noelle's favorite. She had her ice, however. She was playing with little ice patterns above her hands as she came by some flowers.

She was walking slowly carefully looking at a detailed horse snow creation she was making. She thought she heard some panting from somewhere but she didn't let it bother her. That is until she felt a body smack into hers and send her to the ground. What was that?! She looked up to see a young man around her age looking down at her. She placed her palms on the ground.

"I'm fine, and I don't need help." She said with a cold tone. She pushed herself and dusted off her clothes, and fixed her blue hair. She looked him in the eye, mentally questioning his running habits.

He made a small laugh in a low tone "All right. Again sorry i was admiring the flowers of spring and didn't see you there there usually isn't much people around this time of day. What were you doing in the middle of the path. ?" He toke a moment to look around to see anything out of the ordinary.
" Something catch your eye or do you like flowers as much as I do?

(Sorry for being so short didn't have much to make a big post)

((It's okay))

Noelle kept her gaze fixed on him, and not particularly friendly either. Which was nothing extraordinary, she was pretty cold to anyone. If they were interesting, she might warm up to them a bit. She raised an eyebrow at his question.

"I was walking in the middle of the path because the path was made for walking. You should stop running if you want to stop and smell the roses."

Noelle wasn't the type that spoke or reacted to inflict pain, but it usually happened by accident. She didn't find her speaking too harsh. She cleared her throat and answered his other question.

"No, I wasn't admiring the flowers. I was doing...something else. Not that it concerns anyone."

She pursed her lips and her eyebrow continued to remain at questioning position. Can't walk these days without something happening, she thought to herself. Then again, this island is home to Starlight Academy, a school for the gifted. Being run over by a runner is normal.

He made somewhat of a ercked face with a sarcastic tone and said " well in most places most people keep to the sides to keep the follow of traffic. Just the same as if where are road made for driving." He toke a bit of sigh and start to talk normal again.
" But it wasn't really to smell them just to admire the view its not like this field is very big. " He thought for a moment looking up and down at the woman she seemed fairly ticked at this matter and he wanted to calm this situation down if he could. Though he wasn't particularly getting mad at all. He liked keeping good vibes with most people but sometimes a simple sorry isn't enough. Hmm a kind gesture might change this around.
He made a small smile as he thought of something. "Tell you what to make it up to you I know a place a bit ways down this path that has a snack shack there. They should be open right now I could buy you a drink to cool of? Possibly a slushie?"

Noelle took a deep breathe as she bit her tongue. His response was pretty good, and she figured she shouldn't be harsher then she already had. So she let herself her think her response instead. Um, well if I was in the middle of the path and you ran into me doesn't that mean you were also in the path? Still, he seemed pretty calm for someone who had just run into her, so she gave him credit. Towards what, she didn't know. He seemed to pause and think before he smiled and offered to buy her a slushie.

"Well, usually I'd refuse such offers as these but... I really like slushies. I suppose I will go. Since you're paying." She threw a little troublemaker smile at the end, as not to seem rude. She also wanted to tell him she didn't need cooling off. Although she liked it. But, he had no no need to know that. Besides, he was offering to buy her a slushie... Couldn't run out of things to say to soon.

He gave a small grin as they began to walk towards the snack stand. Though it wasn't a true smile at least she was calming down. Which was his goal the whole time. As the walked a few ways there was a 2nd path that split from the direction she came from. The seemed to curve left and right a lot. But soon enough they hit this small stand that seemed to be in a small grotto. All though from a common perspective this wouldn't be the greatest place to set shop in the middle of the park unless you knew how many people took this path in the summer time you understand, or at least that's what the owner told him.
A Old age man around his 50's seemed to be moving around in this small shack doing random things. He stood around 5'6 was had a mostly bald head with just hair on the sides and back. He wore a with apron and a old checker red and black shirt underneath with a pair of blue jeans. He turned around hearing footsteps and gave a smile and waved. " Hello Kan" He said with joy.

"Coming back again I see Training going well?"He looked confused as he small the girl next to him "Oh well look here. Did you find your self a girl friend? That was fast work for you." He gave a small laugh as they approached the stand.
" No such luck Mr Ainsworth." Kan said with a chuckle. " A random run in with her and were thirsty for some slushies."

He gave a odd look. "Not a common drink for you but all right sense you got such a pretty girl with you. What flavor would you both like? I have Cheery, blue raspberry and green apple?"

Noelle smiled softly to herself when the guy wasn't looking. Although she came across as snobby or mean she actually liked people's company. Especially a laid back guy's company. They walked on a path up to a drink stand. It was a cute place and the man there looked friendly enough. He said something about training and he called him Kan. And then he asked if she was his girlfriend. Noelle giggled.

"Right, he ran me over and now I'll have a blue raspberry slushie please. Oh, and I'm Noelle by the way." She stated this as she turned to Kan.

"And your name is Kan...?" She played with the name on her tongue. She hoped she had pronounced it correctly. If there was one thing that was awkward, it was saying someone's name wrong. She smiled as she thought about this very interesting situation. It was all so random. Of course, she liked random.

"Yes it is. Nice to meet you." He said with a smile it seemed the girls bad mood has cooled down something he enjoyed changing. "And Cheery for me please." The man toke a nod and began gathering a couple of cups and lids as he kicked on the machine and waited a few moments before pouring each cup and placing it in front of them. As Kan put down some money the old man a bit of a grin nugging his elbow against kans arm. "You know there's a nice bench down the way that leads to small pond. Is quiet secluded. Great place for a first date."
Kan somewhat blushed for a moment turning away and had to breath grabbing his drink and taking a small sip. He toke a deep breath not turning around he said in a calm voice. "Well Noelle would you ...like to go" between the sentence he almost lost his voice taking a bit of a gulp.Truth was he was turned away to hide the fact that his face was bright red.

Noelle sipped her slushie and found it quite satisfying. It was a wonder she bad not been to this place before. Then again, when she went downtown, it was usually town. But this place, it was very beautiful indeed. She had been staring into her cup until the man mentioned seclusion...and the words "first date." Noelle looked at Kan. Apparently he found it fitting to turn and take a sip of his drink at that moment. He was probably blushing as she was. She willied the heat and color of her cheeks to leave. Then, interestingly enough, he asked her if she'd like to go. She have it a little thought.

"Well, we've come this far, I-I guess we shall go, together."

She smiled as she stared at the counter and pondered how the stand man had the courage to matchmake like he did. She assumed it was probably because he already knew Kan. Well, at least it was with someone Noelle was finding growing interest in. She lifted her eyes a little to peek at Kan's face.
