He toke a deep breath letting himself calm down as he waved at the man at the counter. "See you next week Mr Ainsworth." The old made gave a smile waving back. "Ill make sure ill have more of that jasmine tea you like so much."
With drink in hand he motioned for Noelle to follow. He knew the way quiet way visiting in the past few days while taking his small breaks between jogs. As they walked along the path he toke a bit more from his drink.

"So live near by? The academy perhaps? Seems most teenagers aroud are age seem to go to that school around there." the path seemed to curve a few times during there walk as they came upon a opening with a few bench's facing toward a small pound with different kinds of fish swimming around.

Noelle smiled politely to the man, listening to him mention that Kan liked Jasmine tea. Ugh, she was not a tea drinker, even if it did come iced. Well, at least that wasn't what they were drinking. She smiled as she walekd beside him, he who seemed nervous. She could understand, all of this was very sudden. And she had seemed cross when they first met. But really, it was just a front she put on. Something that some people noticed and others didn't.

"Yes, I attend the academy. Mostly just for education for my powers. My parents ran a school but they both specialized in different elements so they thought it would be nice to come here. Where I can also learn general use."

She looked down at the path before using her straw to stir the cold, icy blue liquid and take a sip. She remembered that she had not thanked him for buying it for her. She didn't want to seem ungrateful.

"Thank you for this" she said, holding up the cup, "by the way. It was a nice offer."

She hoped he didn't find her too strange. It seemed like she was one mood one moment and another the next. But really, that was just how she acted around new people. She tried changing it but it didn't work and shd ended up frustrated. So she decided that if anyone stuck around long enough to becomd her friend, they were z true friend, indeed.

"Its no problem it was form slamming into anyway. " He said with a mild smile as he sat down at one of the benches. Looking towards the pond. "Well, your lucky your parents sent you here. Mine not as lucky. I lived at a monastery to train with my powers. I moved here to try to live a normal life. Im pretty much dead to my family." He said with a low tone.

"But Yes I attend there as well to get a degree and get into some software company and work my way up the ladder. At least if that's the plan. Nothing is truly set in life right now. I mean most people are age change majors at least 3 times before finishing college and its just my first year. Who knows what is to come. "

A monastery. How interesting. Noelle pictured it in her mind and wondered what kind of monastery wod be open to people with powers. Surely people had to know about it. She furrowed her eyebrows as she listened to what he said. People always told her she was lucky. They wouldn't think as much if they knew about her brother.

"Yes, family can be a complicated thing. But you are lucky you are here now and you have many opportunities to do things. As for majors, I'm actually in my last year of highschool still. I guess I'll stay here for college as well."

Despite the fact that she had been at this school for a while, she hadn't thought about that. It seemed reasonable enough. She could visit her Mom and Dad in the summer and head back to the good old acsdmey in the fall. As a college freshman. Sounded exciting to her.

"Ah i see. You have a point." He thought to himself for a moment. "I must have pushed my studies a bit while I was at the monsatry and that's why i qualified for college. hmm funny this place as different standards then japan."

He looked and watched the fish as she talked and drank his slushie getting near the bottom of the cup. "But your right I am grateful that im here now though im alone at least a have a chance at a normal life and can gain friendships again. No one to be scared for me because they also have some power or something that makes them special that normal people couldn't understand. "
