Loch eyed the guy skating by on a chair with complete disbelief.

He knew he drank a lot, but he hadn't touched anything alcoholic for a few days now, so there was no way in hell he was hallucinating.

"Here, let's do it together and maybe we can help each other."

She took a step forward and Loch tried to pull himself back onto his feet to meet her. His legs were surprisingly wobbly, but when he got up he managed to stay up. His ungloved hand brushed against hers, easily interpreted as an invitation or an accident.

"So, do you like to play pranks or tricks or anything?"

"I do," Loch said, watching as the guy on the chair sipped on freaking tea and read a book. A freaking book. Oh man, what Loch wouldn't do to one up him somehow. Only first he'd have to actually move 3 feet without doing another split. He wobbled more.

"Do you have something in mind?" He said, the corners of his lips twisting into something too mischevious to be a proper smile. "Because I think that guy on the chair is asking for it."

Savannah moved slightly at the touch of his hand, and smiled a little. She would have to go strong, that way she actually be of help to Loch. She watched the man in disbelief. He was skating in a chair, drinking tea and reading a book!? "What the hay, how is that even possible?" She looked at Loch with disbelief and surprise in her face. It would be fun to mess his little routine up a bit.

"Do you have something in mind?... Because I think that guy on the chair is asking for it."

Savannah laughed. "That's what I was thinking!" 'But maybe you need a little joke first' she thought to herself. 'Hehe I'm so evil' While Loch was distracted looking at the guy, Savannah touched her skates and hat turning them invisible. She laughed a little. She was skating, but she had no feet of skates. If he noticed, she could take it to the next level. "Oh dear, looks like I've lost my skates again", she said propelling in front of him. "This always happens" she said shaking her head and struggling. 'This is going to be to funny,' she laughed inwardly and smiled slightly.

Loch blinked.

Once.

Twice.

A third time.

Her skates were gone. He was going to point that out, but instead he took a step forward and ended up having his skates sliding out from underneath him. He rocked backwards and fell onto his butt with a "Oomph!" Bits of snow fell out from under him.

He reached out to touch at the space her feet used to be, completely distracted.
"What the...?"
he murdered.

If he managed to grab her foot, there was a pretty good chance she'd end up toppling over onto him and then they'd both be on their butts on the ice. As it was, Loch wasn't sure what he was going for. He was just distracted by the lack of feet.

Savannah hadn't meant for him to fall, must have been the shock. 'This is cruel, I should stop, but I don't want to.' She skated in front of him, dodging when he reached out to where her feet were supposed to be. "Oh dear, I'm sorry, I'd lend you a hand, but that seems to have gone missing too," she said, looking at where she knew her hand was, although it was not to be seen. She looked down at her left hand hanging by her side. She extended it, making it disappear."Ugh, dang it, looks like that one left me too." She shook her head and sighed. She looked down at Loch's face, trying not to start laughing hysterically. 'This is the most fun I've had since the time I chased the coyotes off the farm at two in the morning! I hope he doesn't get upset, he seems like he can take a joke.' She breathed, taking in his reaction.

Grinning darkly, he clapped the book shut and placed it inside his jacket before dropping his cup into his ornate hat. He felt as though he brought some attention to himself, he sighed before standing up. He twirled his right arm up in the air, a walking cane shooting out of his sleeve before being caught at the hilt swiftly.

"Perhaps I should introduce myself to the students," he said to himself with his grin broader. He began to skid along the ice his black formal shoes towards the couple, cane held under his arm in a proper fashion as he closed the distance between him and the students, his hand outstretched in a friendly manner.

Sorry for the huge delays. my internet has been terrible--again! Ughh.

"Oh dear, I'm sorry, I'd lend you a hand, but that seems to have gone missing too...Ugh, dang it, looks like that one left me too."

"Oh crap is that serious should we call someone--" Loch said, trying to push himself up ff the ice. He only succeeded in sliding even further onto his butt.

He stopped.

Considered the situation. She was way too calm, taking this a little too cheerfully. He was an idiot.

"Very funny," he whispered. This time he managed to haul himself back onto his feet without falling over. "But that guy is coming over here. I'll stall him. You think of something crazy."

He flashed her another grin and then went to meet the new guy. Well, sort of went--it was more like a nervous hobble.

"Hey there," Loch said, "Can I help you with something?

Savannah barely had time to laugh before the man came. 'What a great trick' she thought. "Ok, I'll do my best" She skated around to the back of the man, doing a circle, so he could see what she was doing. Skating like an innocent student. Hmm, looks like he left a few objects, unsupervised. She skated around a little more, getting closer to the chair. She turned around making sure the guy wasn't looking, and innocently touched his chair. And while she was at it, the other objects on the chair. "Genius idea!" She placed the objects on the chair, next to a tree root, outside of the lakes edge, and sat on the chair. She propelled herself around the lake on the chair, although it looked like she was sitting on air. She gave one big push and pulled her legs up. "Woohoo!" she yelled so they couldn't hear the chairs soft noises against the ice. She put one foot down, and pushed hard again, she glided past the guys. "You guys should try this, it's awesome," she said, sitting cross-legged. She turned around, waiting to see the man's expression.

Obsidian spun round to see the young girl playing on his former chair. He grinned wildly before adjusting his coat, he quite liked that chair as it's chair-skating abilities were unparalleled to that of other chairs, this one had a destiny for this sport and nothing else would do it justice. He took off his beloved hat, pulling out a muffin in which he began to munch on before going wide eyed in realization.

"Wait a moment, hold your horses, stow your ferrets!" he called, leaving the lad unanswered as he slid towards the girl, "your chair-skating abilities is about as poor as your mundane-skating abilities! This chair is more deserving than your lousy chair-work!"

He clapped his hands, before reaching into his jacket, pulling out an old wicker chair from inside. He placed on the ice before crossing his arms. These amateurs at love and chair-skating were about to learn the proper art, and the proper form, by his name he they would.

"What--I--the--.....what?" Loch stammered, watching the scenario unfold before him with disbelief etched plainly on his face. Standing there in his skates, hands tucked into his pockets, dark hair amiss, he felt something strange happen to him.

It took him a minute to realize that he was laughing.

This was just absurd.

"Okay, wait, did you two plan this?" He shouted towards them both, making a valiant attempt at heading in their direction. He was on his butt again in a matter of seconds, and it took him as much time to get back onto his feet.

"How the hell did you pull a chair out of your coat? What the hell is going on?" he said, but he was still laughing.

This was...fun.

Savannah whipped her head around to face the man, just as he pulled a full sized chair out of his...pocket? 'What the what, no one can do that!' she thought surprised. She quickly put the thought away, remembering that is was a school for the gifted. She frowned slightly as he insulted her skating, and hopped off the chair. "Fine, show us how to do your little chair skating thing, that is if my partner in crime would like to see." She smiled at Loch."Oh, and trust me, this was not planned, as a matter of fact, I haven't seen you around the academy before sir," she said looking to the man.

She skated over to Lochlann smiling. James often called this her "killer" smile because it was a mixture of many emotions. Laughter sweetness, innocence, mischief, and invitation to join her mischief. Her eyes were full of happiness and mischief, something she thought was long gone. The rest of her face stayed the same, the cold brought some color to her cheeks, and her lips were smiling, it felt good to smile. She pushed her hands into her pockets, wishing she had brought some gloves. 'Maybe that guy has some in his pocket!' Despite the strangeness of the whole ordeal, Savannah was enjoying herself. 'What a good time, much better than what I've experienced so far.'
