Winter was strange.
To the crocodile, it felt as it the world turned to something foreign and alien. It was cold, and frozen water fell from the sky to coat everything in fluffy white. Being a reptile, it was hard not to give into the instinct to find someplace warm and curl up to sleep. Walks was determined though, to figure out the season and acclimate to it, as best as he could. His first attempt to venture outdoors saw him stepping outside in a minimal amount of clothing, as was his normal habit--which was a mistake.
After retreating to retrieve appropriate gear for the temperature, he wandered back outside, finding warmth and safety in a plush, thick jacket and multiple layers of clothing. Snow crunched beneath his booted feet as he took to meandering around the school's grounds, exploring and making mental notes about how winter affected the environment. During his journey he noticed various little figures being made out of snow by some of the students. Walks stopped to watch them work, one dark brow raised curiously.
It wasn't as if the werecroc was naive to the concept of effigies, but all the ones he was used to seeing were made out of sandstone or other materials. This...this snow seemed like a poor choice of it.
However, Walks was intrigued.
And so he decided to try his hand at it...Awkwardly rolling up large balls of snow to work to construct a snowman. The process really wasn't going as smoothly as it was for the students he had been watching. A low huff escaped him as he tried to get one of the smaller snow globes to rest atop the larger base one.
