Name: Diamond Dahlia
Age: 28
Birthday: September 4th
Gender: Female
Career: Waitress/Performer at Club Gambit (NPC)
Appearance Description:
Diamond is a fairly tall woman standing at 5’8” with a strong and curvy built. She has long silver hair and a long silver dragon tail to match! She also has antlers protruding from the sides of her head, which her long hair is often gracefully upon. How she manages to keep her hair so gracefully draped and not a tangled mess in her antlers is a mystery.
When it comes to clothing, Diamond is very frilly and girly. She always has ribbons tied to her antlers, and you won’t ever see in her an outfit that doesn’t have some ruffles! She also likes to wear gold accents to accentuate her golden eyes.
Personality Description:
Diamond is playful, a touch flirty, and loves to entertain. Some might find her intimidating at first because of her height and strong body structure, but she’s quick to prove that she’s just a big fluffy sweetheart.
Even though she certainly has the physical strength to hold her own, Diamond absolutely hates conflict of any kind. She has a bad habit of deeply repressing any feelings of sadness or anger, and always tries to remain the peace-keeper and optimist. She is often called upon to deescalate arguments in Club Gambit--especially when Marie starts to get pissy toward Bunny.
Powers:
Both of Diamond’s parents were dragons, albeit two different types: her father was a Chinese dragon of Good Luck, and her mother a Slavic dragon. Diamond mostly took after her father when it comes to her dragon features and abilities—which Diamond is grateful for, because she wouldn’t really want to be a 3-headed dragon like her mother was.
Shapeshifter: Diamond has both a dragon form and a ‘human’ form, albeit her human form is not entirely human as it is impossible for her to get rid of her antlers and tail.
Diamond is a pretty large dragon already despite her young age—just a bit larger than a Clydesdale horse. Since she is still very young as far as dragons go, her dragon form is expected to become much larger as she grows older.
She does have wings and the ability to fly in her dragon form, but lacks the common fire-breathing skill of most dragons. What she lacks in magic, however, she makes up for in physical strength complimented by sharp teeth, massive claws, and a strong hide.
Good Luck/Bad Luck: Although she does not directly tell her customers about it at Club Gambit, patrons do often notice that after spending time with Diamond, they experience some really good luck afterwards. It has made her pretty popular.
Diamond really doesn’t have much control over this power. If people spend time around her, they will have good luck for a while! Maybe they’ll get that job they’ve been hoping for, or they’ll find $50 in the streets. It’s nothing major typically, but always pleasant!
If someone happens to upset or anger her, however, they may find their luck in a very different state. People have been known to suffer some awful incidents after upsetting Diamond: being hit by a car, falling into major debt, breaking up from a relationship, etc. Her bad luck has never been severe enough to kill someone, but it can cause bodily harm or an unpleasant life event.
Diamond doesn’t wish these things upon the person who upsets her, they just…happen. That’s why Diamond tries to remain a very happy and positive person who tries very hard to avoid letting herself get upset or hold grudges.
Extended life span: As is typical of dragons, Diamond will likely live to be a few hundred years old. She is, however, still quite young. She is not immortal.
Biography:
Diamond was born on Manta Carlos and has lived on the island her whole life. She was actually assigned the wrong gender at birth, but was lucky enough to have supportive parents who helped her transition through her teenage and young adult years. She has legally changed her name, and no one knows her dead name besides her parents.
Diamond graduated from Starlight Academy with a degree in Theatre. Initially, Diamond planned to work temporarily at Club Gambit while she pursued a career in stage acting and TV—but she loves Club Gambit so much, that she’s been there for a couple of years! She does occasionally take on acting gigs—she has been in a few plays and commercials--but Club Gambit continues to be her main, stable source of income.
Additional Information:
-Club Gambit NPC. She can be played as a worker in Club Gambit.
