It was way, way too hot. Or at least, that's what Skittles thought. It was most probably because she couldn't gather enough bravery to go swimming. Which was why she had decided to take her battery operated fan to the top of the building and die in peace there.
She was draped under a random ledge in an attempt to have shade, but when the sun managed to creep into her hollow, she decided it was time to move once more.
She sat up abruptly, only to whack her head on said ledge. She groaned as she rolled out from underneath the ledge, and sat up dully. She was vaguely aware that she's scraped her forehead, and healed herself quickly. "That wasn't fair." she growled, shaking her fist limply at the sun.
And then she flopped over onto her back again, dragging her fan closer to her. She was vaguely aware of a presence near by, but decided to try the baby animal routine. The whole 'If I can't see them, they can't see me.' thing. Which she accomplished by closing her eyes to the sun.
