Skittles promptly blushed at his comment, even though she knew he didn't mean it like that. She chose to not say anything about it She rocked back on her heels for a moment. "No, I'm fine. I just have no sense of balance." she smiled at him briefly.

She smirkled lightly, "Immagine spinning around in circles really fast for a long time and then trying to walk. That's kinda how I am at all times." she chuckled and rubbed the back of her neck slightly in a nervous habit. She seeemed to have a lot of those.

Skittles tried not to blush as he 'examined' her head, but failed miserably. She pulled her head from his hands and attempted a glare, though again failed miserably. "No, I was born like that." she replied nibbling on her pinky nail nervously. She didn't like not being able to control everything around her. Which was why she didn't like being around people.

But it was horrible how much made her blush, and how much she couldn't control it. She sighed, putting her fan back on the ground, concluding that she wasn't going to be leaving any time soon.

"Change your mind?" Was what he said when she placed the fan back down. He didn't comment on her head anymore. "Is it really a good idea to be on the roof during a heat wave like this? Wouldn't like.. under a tree be better? I mean.. heat rises.. and this type of material the roof is made of," He knelt down and actually poked the roof as he said this, "conducts the heat a lot more than the shaded ground under a tree would. And you didn't seem to be enjoying the view or anything, either." He paused. "Or were you?" He realized he actually never had a chance to see if she was or not.

Skittles shrugged. "I don't know. I don't usually do a whole lot of thinking when it's hot out." she sighed and closed her eyes, rubbing her forehead slightly, "All I was thinking about was avoiding the mobs of people who also like the shades of trees." she added, glancing out at the large amounts of people hiding under trees and such.

She suddenly realized that they were very far down, and shuddered, "And I wasn't really enjoying the veiw. I'm scared of heights." she added, becoming aware that the roof's material did indeed contain a lot of radiating heat.

During this period time, Paul's finger remained in contact with the roof as he looked up at Skittles and listened intently to her words. Soon, he felt a hot tingling sensation from his burning finger and jumped up to his feet and started waving his hand around to cool it down as Skittles continued talking. In the end he had only listened to about half of what she said.

Skittles watching his antics with a half amused smirk on her face. After watching him flail his hand around for a good minute, she captured it, and poked her finger to his burnt one, a cool blue light escaping. When the light disappeared, so did the burn on his hand.

She smiled with secret contentment about her success, and released his hand, stepping back. "There you go." she said softly, before realizing she'd just dropped all of her defenses. She was beginning to wonder if this guy had somehow cheated and had a way to make people feel comfortable around him.

Of course, the damage had been done, and she couldn't very well take back healing, so she resigned herself to accepting the consequences of her actions.

Skittles raised an eyebrow. "Err.. What do shoes have to do with a freshly healed digit?" she questioned hesitantly, very well aware that she had probably missed something.

She shifted her weight. She was starting to get thirsty, but she didn't want to have to put her fan away after treking down hundreds of stairs, only to do more treking to find a good source of tasty liquid. It was just too troublesome. And thinking used up too much energy.

"Well it would be a shame if my feet got hurt. I mean, I sorta need them to walk, you know?" He seemed to notice something was off. "Err.. you appear uncomfortable. Is everything alright?" Maybe she was getting annoyed with him being up here. If he recalled correctly, she originally wanted to be alone.
