Skittles nodded. "Yeah that makes sense." she agreed, though she decided to leave out the fact that she could have healed his feet just as easily, because it sounded strange in her mind.

"Er. No.. I'm fine. I was just thinking about how I was thirsty, but I don't want to have to trek all over the school just for a lousy drink of water just yet." she said honestly, again leaving out the fact that she was just too lazy, and it was just too troublesome at the moment.

So far so good, since he'd refrained from saying anything that made her want to crawl into a hole and die, she was actually becoming a little more comfortable.

"Err.. well.. in this hot weather.. if you wait to long to get a drink you might not be able to make it time. Right? Though.. I guess this doesn't apply so much at a school. But wouldn't you be much cooler inside anyways?" He took a deep breath. He actually had gotten quite tired himself and sat down cross-legged to rest.

Skittles nodded. "Oh probably." she agreed amiably, dropping onto the roof as well into a crosslegged sitting position. "I just don't have the motivation to leave just yet." she explained in a kind of detached way.

In the back of her mind she was vaguely aware that her mind was slowing down and getting bogged down. It was lagging now, and fuzzy. But she wasn't worried. The heat usually made her sleepy.

She was more relaxed now, and far less threatened than she had been when he first found her. She found herself pondering why she was feeling slightly dizzy, but decided not to focus on it, and instead pondered why Paul had such strange clothes.
