"Training huh? Most training I get makes me want to sit down and eat an entire thing of ice cream. Just using that as a phrase mind you, I actually haven't been able to have ice cream for a long time now. Same reason with the water. I sure miss out on a lot of nice things but when I finally am able to it'll be so much better."

While the doubt was in Miya's voice, it also had confidence in it as well. Miya was going to master her powers or rise in flames trying. Or get sprayed by a fire hose again because that was fun the first time around. At the mention of the nickname Miya felt better because that felt better to say.

"Addy? Well that's cool little nickname. I do understand about not wanting to share your power with people better then you might think. I'm pretty much a walking magical barrier with all the wards on my body to prevent overheating and my body heat from harming others. So I understand completely about keeping it a secret. You have different reason I'm sure, but Just know I do understand."

Miya just had to rub her temples at the exact moment Addy had asked how she felt. Well Miya couldn't lie, she felt like crap still. Whether she was good enough to walk to the infirmary was a different question entirely. Figuring the best way to test that one out was to attempt to stand up again. As she did Miya felt light headed at the motion she managed to stand up but had to stop for a moment to keep her balance. This....Wasn't a smart idea.

"Well...Head hurts like hell and I feel like I might vomit. So in other words, I'm good enough to stand but it's not a good idea. Mind helping me to the infirmary? Might be better to just chat there then sit out here so if I do end up passing out there's someone nearby who can immediately help."

Miya rubbed her temples, and Adelene found herself frowning with worry. Feeling nauseated when a person has a head injury was never a good sign, more like it was a bad sign and that meant Miya needed to be tendedto more than she already has been.

"Going to the infirmary is a good idea, but if you're really dizzy, I say we better not force you."

She stood up and went in front of Miya to reach out a hand for her. "Stand up reeeeaaally carefully, I can bear the force, no worries. Although..." For a moment, she looked away, but she looked at Miya again, smiling sheepishly. "...once we walk to the infirmary, I hope you won't find my height a... bother. I can't deny it, I'm pretty short." At five feet flat. "Are you sure you can walk?"

Miya was...Well she felt strange. Not because of the head injury but at the aspect of a stranger genuinely caring about her well being. This wasn't natural for Miya to deal with on a daily basis so all she could do was just accept it was happening and it was a good thing.

Miya took Addy's hand and got up to stand straight, looking down at Addy with a smile. Well she had a way to keep the dizziness from effecting her but it would come like a ton of bricks later. She didn't want to make Addy worry more so Miya just rested her hand in Addy's.

"I'm sure it won't be that much of an issue. Your height anyway. Long as we go slowly and not rush it shouldn't cause too much of a problem for me. I would rather push my luck trying to get to the infirmary then push it sitting out here. If anything I can do this...Actually that's a terrible idea. I can summon weapons out of my flames and was thinking of doing that to make a sort of walking stick. The strain it would put on my head to keep focused most likely would cause me to fall over or pass out. Anyway....Whenever you're ready let's try walking slowly."

Miya's hand warmed up slightly. Given their height difference Miya felt weird holding Addy's hand. Well more awkward about having a girl hold her hand which caused her to start warming up a bit. Damn those romance novels!

Adelene suddenly perked up when Miya mentioned that she can summon weapons with her fire. The shorter girl wasn't on edge, it was more like a barrier was just shattered. She always softened easily around people who can summon their own weapons too, because she knew they'll have no need to try to take her powers. Just like the case with her dear friend Leon.

But she didn't focus on those thoughts at the moment. Instead, she was preparing herself to stop Miya if ever she suddenly thought of summoning a stick. That would tire her out, after all.

Adelene shook her head and did a few circles in the air with her hand, before a long black metal rod suddenly took form in her hand, from being mere small black particles appearing in the air. Sticks were no problem to summon even though she hasn't touched a real one with the same design yet, because they were pretty direct and simple when it came to components and she can just calculate them in her head with ease.

"Here, use this," she said, handing the metal rod to Miya. It was longer than her height, and was reaching up to Miya's cheeks. She felt the girl's hand heating up, but brushed it off as some kind of manifestation by her powers.

She let Miya's hand go then, assuming it would be better if she held on the rod with both hands. "I'll walk beside you to make sure you'll be okay, but that stick would surely support you up. Just say so if you're starting to feel dizzy, okay?"

Miya was confused and a little startled when Adelene had made a metal pole out of thin air. So that's something she could do? Well she wasn't going to complain now that she had a walking stick. Miya grabbed onto the pole with her free hand and once Addy had let go of her other one she put both hands onto it to help keep her balance.

"Well isn't that a nifty trick. Thanks. Good height too, not all that awkward to hold. Wow you're either a really good estimator or great at math. Both of which I suck at."

It was a joking tone as with anyone who says they suck at math. Miya started walking towards the academy more wondering how the hell she got this lucky to find someone so nice. Then she wondered if this would hamper her ability to control her heat. Something the nurse would have to tell her.

"Sounds good to me. I'll let ya know or you'll know when I suddenly faceplant and we need an actual ambulance. Sorry if my humor is a little on the grim side of things. It's just weird like that sometimes."

The walk to the infirmary was uneventful thankfully. Just a few stops and pauses for Miya to catch her breath and focus from passing out in the middle of the grounds. She was glad that Addy was there to make sure she got to the infirmary safely. As Miya and Addy walked in the nurse from earlier saw them and took Miya's hand to help her to a nearby bed. As they got to the bed Miya sat down on it and leaned the pole against the wall, along with her belongings.

"You and your friend can still talk, I'll be in the other room. If you feel tired or sick come get me alright?"

Miya simply nodded as the nurse walked out before turning her attention to Addy. Well they were safer now, might as well get to know her friend better.

"Thank you again for helping me. So how about we have some Girl Time and get to know each other. I guess for starters what hobbies do you have? My hobbies, well, I'm wearing and carrying around examples of them. I love to sew so most of my clothing are hand made or specially bought with heat resistance clothing. In that yellow bag is some pieces I'm composing and have finished. Music, Sewing, and Cooking. My three favorite things in life."

Adelene smiled when she saw that Miya found the rod convenient. "I study a lot so I can make good calculations... But I think that's also part of my ability," she explained.

Thankfully, the way to the infirmary wasn't so difficult. She kept herself close so she can catch Miya if needed. That didn't need to happen though, as they reached the place quickly, and she assisted the nurse to help Miya sit down.

They were left alone, but because they weren't outside anymore, Adelene wasn't so worried anymore.

She gave Miya a strange confused look when she talked about 'Girl Time'.

"What?"

She had no idea how that works, thankfully Miya was kind enough to explain further. Not that it made it easier to answer though. Adelene made a soft and awkward laugh. It was probably not a good idea to say that she she hated other girls by default, unless they make her like them. Of course, she already liked Miya.

"I'll be honest, I've never tried having this... 'Girl Time' you speak of," she said, sitting down beside Miya. She had to admit though, it was interesting to know what other girls liked doing. Miya's hobbies sure sounded awesome. "Hobbies..." She wrinkled her brows in thought. What did she love doing? "...I like doing regular combat training, and studying in the library, and eating. Those stuff count, right?" she asked, tilting her head a little to the side as her eyes wandered off to the ceiling. She still seemed to be thinking hard about it. "I guess that's all I do anyway, unless I'm hanging out with my friends."

Miya was a little bewildered about Addy not knowing what Girl Time was. Miya may be distance from people most of the time but even she could talk with classmates and have Girl Time talking about hair, boys, and things of the sort. Miya continued giving a puzzled look at Addy as she sat down but drifted away as the girl was talking.

"Eating huh? Well I love to cook, you love to eat. I think we can have fun hanging out. I enjoy cooking to the point it's my second dream job. As for training, well, I wouldn't mind but I will warn you when I get into the heat of battle I tend to lose control and can leave burn marks. Don't think I'll be training till this heals up though."

Miya pointed at her head wound in a joking manner, though there was a hint of sadness about not being able to train. It was another thing she enjoyed doing she can't let her focus go elsewhere until the wound heals. Still didn't mean she couldn't enjoy herself. Miya looked at Addy's face then to her hair. Man was she jealous! Miya wanted to have short hair but anytime scissors or a razer got near her head it got too hot for even her to hold.

"Oh my god I'm jealous of your hair. How do you do it in the morning? Like when you get up and stuff? Special shampoo? Normal store bought? Salon?!?"

Miya got a little too excited but hair was one of her favorite things to talk about since she had to find creative ways to deal with hers. From ribbons to braids. Even tried making it into a giant afro one time. Either way she just loved talking girly with other girls. She knew her appearence made her seem like she wasn't into that kind of stuff but at heart Miya was just as girly as any normal teenage girl.

"I should take you to the salon with me sometime! Oh my god it would be awesome!"

Miya started being all hyped and excited, and her voice somehow sounded higher all of a sudden, and Adelene unconsciously leaned back a bit, blinking at her. She even had her hands up in a defensive position, because she felt like Miya might suddenly hold her or do stuff like when typical girls start to get all hyped and they start shaking or hitting the people near them. It wasn't helping that she noticed her hair, it was scary.

"Chill, Miya." Her hands went from the air between them to Miya's shoulders. "C-Calm down, seriously... I... I don't see how my hair is special, I'm not doing anything with it." The only thing special about her shampoo was that its scent was of bamboo and green tea, a slightly sweet and calming scent she loved. She's been using the same shampoo ever since she saw this brand in Manta Carlos.

"Also, I don't go to the salon. Like, ever."

She felt terrible that she was killing the mood by technically rejecting Miya, but quite opposite of her, Adelene was sweet and cuddly and gentle outside, but all her interests leaned to the boyish side of things. Except watching anime every now and then, and cuddling plushies.

She loved weapons, she loved driving, she loved watching how mechanics and engineers work in dirty places, she loved adventures and extreme activities. That didn't show with her lifestyle in the island, but if opportunity ever comes, she'll no doubt join those.

Also, she hated girls by default, and only learns to like a few after getting to know them a bit and seeing that they're interesting enough.

"...Besides, we should think about your injury first. You can't really move around so much if you have a head injury like that."

A small "Aww" was all that escaped Miya after her sudden outburst of excitement. Well she had to admit, her head was now feeling a little light from it so she figured settling down was as good an idea as any. Maybe she was being a little too pushy. Miya herself was as big a tomboy as any, but still had a big girly side to her as well.

"Sorry. I got a little excited there I'll admit. Just, well, it's nice to try and talk with another girl who isn't tomboyish every now and then. Though I suppose being girly doesn't suit you. Hmm....Well then I'll avoid that next thought like the plague then."

Miya was afraid she might scare Addy off at this rate and decided to settle down more. If anything she didn't want her to worry if she suddenly decided to pass out from getting too hyper and her head just suddenly logging off.

Without even thinking Miya removed her coat and folded it up neatly on the little bed she was on. Underneath Miya was wearing not a black t-shirt that what it seemed but a black tank top, charred skin forming down the side of her neck down to her collar bone. Her forearms were almost nothing but scarred skin with some normal skin showing. Her right arm had the most damage it seemed with patches all around with her left mostly intact with some scaring but not as badly as her right. It wasn't until Miya finished folding up her jacket did she realize she wasn't wearing a long sleeve shirt. Her eyes slowly moved towards Adelene, unsure how the girl would take seeing such scars. Miya's face was almost pure terror but she got an idea of where to take this. However her tone still betrayed her as she displayed her right arm by moving it in a rotation manner to show off the burned flesh.

"W-well...I-if it isn't G-girly stuff, how does seeing something like this do? I don't know what type of training you do, but this is why I train. To prevent the rest of my body from becoming nothing but scars. To get this damn heat under control. Besides, nothing like a good workout to make a gal feel better, no?"

Miya's tone gradually changed. She felt like Addy wouldn't judge her for the scars. Hell from the way she was acting, Miya believed she might actually find them cool and not disgusting. A smile crossed her face before her left hand found it's way to her head and a groan escaped. Miya reached into her bag still holding her head and took out her water bottle, taking another drink before setting it within arm's reach if she needed another drink.

"I'm fine, just having so much focus keeping my heat down made my head feel dizzy. I'll be fine. Still feel wide awake for the most part. Just don't ask me to stand up again. Anyway, you have any scars of your own to show or talk about? What you see here isn't all of it. The one on my neck runs down to my back where the biggest patch of the scar is. Covers almost my entire back. Strangely enough my front only got scarred lightly, with a patch or two across my stomach and a line between my breasts. Looks almost like my heart was ripped out. Well...Kind of romantic when I think about it."

Miya's hand left her head as she looked back at Addy. It was weird still. She felt calm about showing her scars to her and couldn't understand it. Maybe it really was the fact she wasn't Girly and more Tomboyish. That she didn't really judge appearances. Was her only guess anyway.

"Oh gosh it's okay!"

Addy wasn't scared, she was just really taken aback. Hopefully, Miya understood that. She smiled at her and patted her shoulder, before Miya suddenly started taking her coat off and...

Whoa.

She hoped it didn't seem so rude when her eyes glued onto her neck and shoulders and arm. Miya was right, she wasn't disgusted. Her pupils dilated and her eyes widened in the most perfect way to show that she was awestruck.

"I'm sorry you have to be scarred like this... But I bet... once you mastered them, your flames will be flawless and beautiful," she muttered softly before Miya took her water bottle. She listened to Miya and absentmindedly reached up, caressing a part of her shoulders. And then she snapped out, smiling apologetically at her before she took off her own leather jacket to reveal her own red tank top.

"I have a scar," she said, pulling her hair all to her left shoulder to free her right. She was still smiling, as if her scar was such an adorable thing to show off. It was just under the thin strap of her top, four inch-long patches perpendicular to her collar bones. They looked like they were ripped and then stitched. "It's from before I came here to the island. There was a festival, but then the man after me suddenly attacked the village and destroyed everything with his own army. He had mechanical animals with him, too. One of them went for me. A one-eyed tiger. It pinned me down and stabbed me on the shoulder with his giant claws. It was going to bite and rip my throat but... someone came and saved me."
