Appearance Description:
Sage coloured eyes gleam while free flowing crimson hair hit around shoulder level as well as an ear ring lays on his left ear. Yemon has white partially tanned skin because of the heat of the forge with an added eye-patch on his right eye just in case headaches come along again.

His clothing sense is fashionable but to his own tastes and never really follows the current trends unless it's to "die for", favourite matchings are red and light gray clothing but always is known to try even the weird match-ups with some success rather then utter failure but always has a scarf hanging around his neck until he has to take it off when making weapons where he wears only trousers since it's hot by the forge.

Personality Description: Yemon's very happy, too happy perhaps and very curious it's almost criminal. Yemon values companionship even with enemies and would likely try to befriend those who've tried to hurt previously but that doesn't mean he gives away free "kick my ass" cards all day. He gives anyone 3 chances but when they fail all, they're out of his life for good and Yemon doesn't make an exception for anyone as it even includes his loved ones especially since he works a very tiring job.

This shows Yemon is quite stubborn, he is very and actually quite gullible to a degree but can be seen as intellectual when it comes to his passion, forging which is literally his entire life ever since stepping inside the shrine those many years ago. Yemon dedicates alot of his life for the hammer but would rather do more fun things then practice techniques all day since his body is already designed to use the forge even at an early age which some may take him as lazy rather then diligent.

Yemon has two notable sides to him, the first is the goofy and always laughing persona he's created ever since he was a child to get close to friends but the other side to him is quite merchant-like in a way that when Yemon is at work, he only focuses only about work until it's finished. He can seem extremely serious that it's shocking to even to close ones for the first couple of times but people close to him should notice there's more to just a smiling, giddy man who deals with devils.

Demon-Smith
The ability to seal souls into a catalyst and utilise their abilities for combat through using the hot iron forge is the fundamentals of a demon-smith, the requirements of becoming one is rather little being that even demi-humans can pick up the ability but when coming down to actually using the craft will truly show the crafter's skill. (Those with abilities to perceive souls or knowledge of their behaviours and patterns help becoming a competent demon-smith).

The ending result when the soul is trapped within the weapon sadly is permanent, but with strong enough conviction can turn the weapon's body into the souls' new form and turn into either a sword yokai or a completely different being altogether. The stronger as well as bigger the soul that was sealed within the weapon, the stronger the seal needed to not turn the weapon's frame into it's new host. Most people who know of this craft think of this as a constant purgatory for those unlucky.


Pattern, This skill documents all of Yemon's techniques that he can use while creating a demon weapon as well as give the full explanation on what the process is, Yemon's capacity of using these techniques are rather broad compared to others due to his mastery being quite high already ():

-Charm
Trap an Alive medium to large spirit/demon/demi-human/human's soul into a temporary fire-seal talisman then recite several mantra lines (one after the other) corresponding to the race of the trapped soul as while it's sealed to properly trap the soul within the talisman then inside a sealing jar, begin construction of your weapon of choice. Katana's are a very simple pattern to use but more skilled smiths can create even more unique items (like string, pummels or even bullets themselves but all smiths must keep note that all weapons have to be constructed out of two separate parts or more when using any modern technique or the soul will escape the binding and run amok).

Then when selecting the right steel of either Damascus or Tamahagane should be recommended as both are adequate enough then build the weapon as normal, recite several mantras when folding each part of the steel and when the combining process begins, the smith shall add a very small mixture of both mithril and adamantite to the Borax flux used to provide an oxygen barrier before layering the fire-seal talisman in-between the slots of the weapon and finally seal up the weapon by using a hand hammer when continuing reciting mantras for the soul to not escape (assistance is required). When the talisman is burning, so shall the soul while it fuses with the steel and be locked inside the weapon forever. Finish the add-ons on the weapon while keeping in mind that as long as the steel is still hot after the combination process, there is still a chance for the soul to break free or slip away so be sure to have aid when finishing.

-Charm (Bulk up):
This method is used when you guide small souls and form them into a larger body (Think of piling small souls to make a larger one instead of the regular charmed and stick in a weapon for medium and large souls). This process is mostly used for string weapons, "Devil Bullets" (which are just bullets that house very small demons within them) or weapons that have multiple unique abilities instead of just one "theme" like fire.

The process of making this type weapon is near identical to the regular charm but the sealing is completely different as multiple special talismans are meant to be used as well as sealing within a jar is needed for no escaping souls running amok, when the combining process is starting, straight away start binding while reciting more mantras then usual while sprinkling a handful of Borax flux mixture. The process will take longer and every smith needs to be way more vigilant then usual due to the process how the weapon is made.

Much later while cooling the sword down, the small souls inside the weapon will do either two things, form together and become one entity, this is common and will boost the attack power of the weapon exponentially or continue to be separate which is the most rarest, the more time all those small souls spend by themselves but together will create a greater conciousness and become even stronger then that of the combined state and although takes an even longer amount of time, this type of weapon is great "late game".

Prime eye of fire (Right eye), this ability enables Yemon to peer into the true souls of beings when in the presence of a flame, meaning that Yemon needs to be close (several metres worthy at most) to raw fire of any kind to use this ability. Cannot see reflections or through thick objects (needs to be a couple of feet wide to cancel vision through solid objects) but can peer through illusions that involve living beings usually. This eye is covered because it can be unintentionally activated when needn't not and is usually used when smithing.

Hell's Gothel, a magical small hammer given when Yemon reached an elite level of mastery by his own master, the pommel has an engraving of both Yemon's and his master's initials together side by side. This hammer is able by word command to shift into many types of hammers that are needed for smithing while retaining a similar weight depending on what form it's in (from tiny wooden mallets, sledge hammers to a body sized hammer which is annoying to carry so rarely used). This hammer having an additional ability that when striking onto a surface, the target is scorched with a red flame that can cause 3rd degree burns at most.

Seal-type Onmyouji:
To utilise Demon-smithing most effectively, most students learn basic Onmyouji practices like talisman crafting (made from paper mostly, can be also made from certain metals like steel), reciting mantra and fundamental sealing. It's rather easy to understand when you compare it to firing a gun, the talisman itself is the gun while the mantra is both the primer and trigger that fires the bullet-like seal. All in all, the process of using seals are easy if you understand that both talismans and mantra are what creates a total seal while the talismans are a physical copy for the mantra that is what really packs the punch in sealing your enemy. (Sealing can be both used to ward or contain an enemy properly). Yemon can carry up to 30 talismans per thread but can restock depending on the location (like his own home).

Seal, (with permission of the participant OOCly), Yemon is able to contain any misbehaving demons, yokai or spirits alike that requires needn't tending to but cannot seal at all over-powerful beings (i.e. A Demon from the Solomon's collection). This can be used at most 25 times in any given thread due to limited talismans. A failed Sealing permanently uses up a talisman and is gone forever until Yemon restocks (This skill can be stacked one on the other to increase effectiveness).

Shield, This uses three talismans in a triangle pattern while on a surface (like the floor) for it to work as it reaches to a point as well. Yemon can create a basic barrier (Can be at most ten metres wide as well as stretch 8 feet high) that protects him and others for a while depending on the type of attack, has the defence strength of a concrete wall at best.

Ward, when two talismans overlap each other in a cross fashion can activate this skill. The talisman releases a very strong and foul odour that makes most non-humans stay away from profusely. The more non-human (or spirit-like), the more stronger the odour will attack but cannot deal real damage or proper lasting effects other then nausea, head aches and shivers. The closer, the more potent the effects can get which can be sorted out by simple rest and water.

Pentagram Star Seal, A stationary seal skill that's more like a bear trap then anything, this skill requires several sentences of mantra as well as five talismans to form a star. Does less damage then the other skills but has a higher chance of containing the being for a long period of time from a couple of seconds, several hours or at most a day (requires OOC permission for long period of time) depending on how well the action is preformed. This skill is mostly used as a trap but is also used for containing a large amount of spirits into one place for the use of Demon-smithing

Biography:

- Left on the starting steps of a rural shrine, later picked up as a nameless orphan

- early ages Yemon was called by a surname, Miyamoto which means "base of the shrine"

- later becoming a troublesome kid with roughly "no hope of becoming adopted" because of his Prime eye of fire, his first name was actually a nickname. (Yemon sounds in english like Demon as well as with Yemon's young tendencies to sit near the gate of the same shrine he was found)

(Yemon means 'guardian of the gate'.)

- Picked up by two onmyouji when attacked by a snake yokai who impersonated as a human within the mountains (Yemon's favourite places to explore when a child)

- Finding out Yemon's ability (eye) and young age, the woman onmyouji decided to pick him up as an apprentice onmyouji

- Finally said farewell to those at the orphanage with no lingering regrets had Yemon made happy for the future with also a new mother/teacher (at this time, the onmyouji woman hadn't actually become Yemon's mother)

- Age 11, being taught as a seal-type onmyouji because of his strength in his memory had made him very competent for even real action against yokai (first mission was when Yemon's master finally asked if he wanted to become her son, answer was a big yes!)

- Age 15, Yemon wanted to further his education so his mother proposed an option of becoming a demon-smith, one of her contacts helped with the training.

- Started proper training for becoming a demon-smith at the age of 17, having road block twice when figuring out his own pattern for creating weapons but finally broke through by the age of 28. Becoming one of very few young onmyouji elite demon-smiths in history.

- By call of his mother, Yemon was given two things. First was Hell's Gothel which he still uses today and lastly a passport w/ ticket to the Manta Carlos Islands.

- Questioning his mother why, the answer being is that theirs an influx of evil energy around the islands and when asking for an investigation, they allowed permission for only three onmyouji at a time to silently investigate while on one condition. The onmyouji will have to work with the police and help with any yokai or demon related cases when the needs arise.

- Current day, staying around north west of the city with his own house by the sea side with hopes of taking on an apprentice.

Additional Information:
- Yemon is Bisexual, he doesn't matter if your male, female or non-gender since as long as you're nice in a way. He'll work around anything~.
- Yemon loves sweet things but doesn't like bitter things.
- Yemon always tries different cloths when given a chance and especially loves jewellery since he also makes them in his spare time.
- Yemon can be quite stingy with some things in flea markets and would near always haggle to get a better offer, he's quite good at it nowadays~.
- Yemon will always keep a secret until his death bed unless the cat's already out of the bag so it makes him more trustworthy then some people initially think.
- Yemon has a way with words at times that it can almost seem like he's insulting other people's intellect, don't worry, it's only one of his very few evil habits.
- Yemon possess a Eidetic memory with knowledge about many subjects like literature, mathematics, physics, chemistry and alchemy. He's very happy when reading the latest books!
- Yemon is a sound fighter so he'll stick to it when it's a last resort!
