In his human form, Josuke stands at 5’10. He has dark skin with short white hair and dark brown eyes. His signature headband, which he wears while DJ’ing, is black with a metal plate etched with a pattern of rounded rectangular clouds. His style typically consists of long-collared jackets with thin shirts underneath, and jeans with vans sneakers.
His kirin form is 22 ft long from head to tail, and around 11 ft long without it. From shoulder height he stands at 6’3”. This form sports two long golden horns, one on each side, and a shorter horn in the middle. His fur is brown with a tint of crimson, and he sports a white mane that continues as a thin stream across his back, all the way to the end of his tail.

Powers:
Kenshin is a Kirin; therefore he can use the abilities of one. His Kirin physiology grants him with a few abilities:
- His physical abilities, such as strength, speed and stamina are all enhanced far beyond human capabilities.
- Can breathe fire from his mouth and nostrils, as well as simply shooting it from his hands and feet. In addition, he has the ability to envelop his body or parts of it in fire. He can also do this to objects he’s touching, without burning/melting that object (though it will affect other things that touch it as normal).
- He has the ability to levitate in the air at will. He can use this ability to achieve flight.
- He can induce blessings onto other people. This manifests in different ways for each Kirin. For Josuke, it manifests as an ability to slightly increase the luck of others. This means that a person affected by this power would be more likely to win the lottery, but they won’t be any more likely to be spared from a situation that could kill or harm them (Bullets or falling objects won’t be more likely to miss, e.t.c).
Over the years he has learnt to assume a human form at will. His appearance in this form is out of his control. He has enough control over this ability to make parts of his Kirin form (such as the horns, mane or tail, for example) appear in his human form.

His family line traces back to ancient times, where they were familiars to Chinese deities. As a result, Josuke comes from a very wealthy background.
They had several mansions in just about every asian region, as well as some worldwide.
In his lifetime, they had a home in Japan and, more recently, a home in the US.
The family recently turned their interests to Manta Carlos; the homes were great and around 90% of the population was superpowered. Not to mention quite a few other rich families took residency there. And, so, 3 years ago, they moved to Manta Carlos.
