Appearance Description: Famine takes the appearance of an undernourished creature spliced with a dead tree. It is comprised of deceptively durable and flexible wood that is a dull, dark brown in colour; It would even look dark grey if one looked at it from a distance. it possesses small, beady white eyes and a mouth with sharp teeth on a head that houses a bush of ‘branches’, without any leaves, on top. Short branches also protrude out of its back, as well as one poking out of each elbow. Its hands each consist of 4 wooden clawed digits (one of them being an opposable thumb), while its feet each have 3. It stands at 4 feet.
Personality Description: Famine is a curious creature; it is likely to climb into any and every little corner, hole or space it can find.
Famine is initially cautious toward new people and situations. If it's uninteresting, Famine doesn't care for it; it will just walk away.
If it's amusing or is a good source of energy to feed on, Famine will warm up to it. If they're sentient, Famine would hang around that person or creature a lot, much like a pet.
It is also quite mischievous, often taking the chance to play fun tricks on those it's warmed up to.
If it's hostile, dangerous or otherwise annoying, Famine will act hostile in response. It will instantly try to feed on a hostile person or creature's energy. If they prove too dangerous, it will attempt to flee.

- Famine has the ability to absorb the energy of other living things, as well as objects that have energy reserves of their own, over a long period of time when it makes physical contact with its target. It can only absorb energy at a slow rate (one third of the average human's energy would be absorbed in half a day at the current rate).
- It can speed up the process of energy absorption significantly in a short burst that lasts for two seconds. It can use this technique to absorb up to a third of the average human's energy in that time. After using this technique once, it needs to wait another hour
- This power only works upon physical contact.
- It can also sense the energy of others.
- The energy it absorbs will add up to make it more durable while maintaining its flexibility over its long lifetime.
- Despite having the appearance of a dead tree, it can grow and shrink its limbs up to a radius of 10 metres.
Biography:
There was a powerful wizard who resided in Manta Carlos who wanted to create a plant creature. This creature would be used as a pet that would also be able to grow fruit. Instead, what resulted looked rather... dead. It was indeed alive, however, so he decided to keep it as a pet anyways. Over time he found that it kept draining the energy out of his magical items including his wand and his various gems. One night, when the wizard was tired from that day's events, it sucked enough energy from him in a short burst to knock him unconscious, stole his magical artifacts to feed on them, and retreated. It is still roaming around somewhere in the main island to this day.
