The Students, Staff, and Citizen Chaperons are taking a class field trip to a Cruse through the Bermuda Triangle!

Participants in the field trip will be picked up at The Pier in the Official Event Post.

Have a new character and want to introduce them to Starlight Academy? Have them get picked up on the cruise ship! The boat will be traveling in this dimension and others, so feel free to hop on board!

Remember to keep your posts short and rapid fire. There is no posting order, but @Tagging the member you are responding to is recommended.

Cabel was really glad to be getting away for a couple of days, even if it meant he had to bring a pile of textbooks.

The young man was sunbathing on the top deck, although since he had not applied sunblock to himself, it was highly likely the only thing he was doing was creating a raccoon-like effect thanks to the sunglasses he'd fallen asleep wearing.

Now that he was awake, Cabel was watching the waves crash behind the ship. The bermuda triangle looked just like regular ocean, but who knew when something strange was going to happen!

"Hey!" he shouted at the nearest person walking by. "Come talk to me for a moment."

Mizuko didn't think she was going to regret joining this cruise, but she thought differently know. There was something in the Bermuda Triangle that caused ships and planes and other kinds of machines to fuck up, and physics says one possible reason was the traffic of signals and waves, creating confusion.

Mizuko was affected by the same thing. Fortunately, her head wasn't very painful yet, but she was constantly hearing a soft high-pitched beep in her right ear, one that didn't seem like it was going to stop soon.

She was trying to get as much air as she could in the top deck. She wore summer clothes-- a translucent tank top over a blue bikini top, and then a pair of thigh-short jeans. She was wearing sunglasses, too, but unlike that guy who fell asleep with it on, she fortunately had sunblock. SPF+40 with zinc oxide, really expensive, but worth it. She was going to check out other places in the ship, she'd love to try some poker later in the casino, but she was halted when the other guy with sunglasses shouted, openly demanding attention. She removed her sunglasses, just to show him her weirded out expression, her raised eyebrows. "Something wrong?"

Alice hadn't thought much of joining the cruise as it seemed like a pleasent experience. And although she heard of ships and planes vanishing as they traveled trough the Bermuda triangle she didn't believe a word of it. After what real proof was there that this area of water was different then any other? Despite having convinced her self there was no danger she was still a little worried about the non paranormal things such as what if the boat sinks or theres a storm? She didn't want to be un prepared! She even made sure to bring extra clothes and sunscreen just in case.

However she pushed the thoughts of dangers to the back of her head as she climbed aboard and was rather taken aback by the pure size of the boat. This was by far the biggest boat she had been on and seemed to able to accommodate everyones needs, However she had stayed up late the night before packing and soon found herself on a lounge chair and quickly dozed off. Only to be awoken by someone shouting something though she couldn't quite make it out.

"Huh?" Someone say something?" Alice asked still a bit tired but still able to make a coherent sentence. She looked for the source of the voice and quickly saw that it was some guy who yelled it and standing in front of him was someone else who se couldn't quite make out. Slowly she got up and after checking that nothing was on her summer outfit (white sleeveless Collared blouse tucked into a black short skirt with black knee high socks and white canvas sneakers) Went over to see what the one guy was shouting about.

Tanau was excited, to say the least, about this cruise. Mainly to see what all this 'Bermuda Triangle' place was. It seemed like it had to be a pretty interesting place if it generated a lot of talk, after all.

So here he was, just hanging out on the cruise as it traveled towards this place of mystery. Of course, he just couldn't leave without his cracked shades, which he always wore on his face (as per usual). That and the sunscreen he was wearing helped deal with the sunlight.

He was sipping on some juice when he heard some guy shouting. He had nothing else to do, so he went to see what the guy was going on about.

Mizuko turned to the other two people who came because of this other guy's shouting. She recognized one of them, and that was Tanau.

Folding her sunglasses in her right hand, and fixing her hair behind her ear, she crossed her arms over her chest, almost as if she was hugging herself against the blow of the sea wind and the heat of the sun. She smiled at the two, as her default greeting.

"Hi," she greeted shyly.

As she walked over Alice noticed another person heading over towards the group of people that seemed to have been drawn by this guys shouting, though she still had no idea what he had been yelling about. Either way there were more pressing matters at hand after all someone was introducing themsleves and she certainly didn't want to be rude.

So trying her best to muster a smile despite her tiredness she put her hand at and greeted this unknown person in talking to her her.

"Hi i'm Alice. And you are?"

As soon as he was at the guy's location, it became clear that more than one person was drawn to his yelling. Now they had a small group going. What's more, he even recognised one of them; Mizuko, to whom he had the pleasure of dazzling with his tricks the other day. It was a small island, that's for sure!

He waved at the group, also hoping to introduce himself to the others. After Mizuko and the other girl had finished her introduction, he would do the same himself. "I don't believe we've met, Alice. Name's Tanau. It's a pleasure."

Makara had no particular need of amulets to hide what he was. During the day, he was an ordinary enough human. It was only at night that anything strange or mysterious about him was obvious, and every night they'd be on the ship.

During the day, he wasn't particularly on duty. No, he'd taken the night watch, since he had no need of sleep. If any students decided to go sneaking about, it would be his duty to collect them and make sure they weren't up to any mischief.

That said, he wasn't particularly social during the day either. There was a small cluster of students on the upper deck chatting when he arrived, but he gave them only a brief glance before moving over to the railing and staring out at the sea. They all seemed well behaved, and as he so often did, he felt terribly out of place.

None of them were dead, after all.

Roman had found there weren't many others his age who wanted to go on this Bermuda Triangle trip. In fact, he hadn't seen any but that could change. That was one of three reasons he wanted to go. The second was he wanted to go on a vacation (even if it was with school) and the final was he liked the Bermuda Triangle a lot. So much magic. He'd spent so far looking around. He didn't recognise many people. More friends.

Looking out to the sea made Roman a bit seasick. He didn't like it, but his cabin was stuffy and he didn't know how to work air conditioning. That, and he couldn't reach it anyway. There was a group, and he watched them for a few moments. He didn't want to dive into their conversation, especially since they were older. Even one who looked about ten was older. Instead, he watched the teacher standing at the edge. He looked dead if Roman was honest. Roman had never seen a dead person. Unless he was alive. That would be awkward.
