Often shortened to just Haven. The mortuary can be found nearer to the residential parts of the city, sandwiched between two sparsely populated apartment buildings in a not-quite-seedy but not-quite-safe district. It is a two story tall building that is actually fairly large. It only appears small from a pedestrian point of view because it is much longer than it is wide. with a basement and a worn looking exterior but otherwise is well maintained. A small plague to the left of the door is all that there is to tell people what the building is for. The windows are all large but darkly tinted. It is far easier to see from the inside looking out than the other way around.

Inside, the place is clean but the air retains a constant musk. The first floor consists mainly of office space to keep records and talk with customers. There's quite a bit of room for people who want to get religious services and the like out of the way and the mortuary has the appropriate tools on hand for most belief systems. The basement is where more of the grimier work is done, including things like cremations and embalming. This is also where the bodies are kept. The second story is mainly empty space that nobody really knows what to deal with. It serves as storage but also as a place for employees to crash if they don't want to go back home for the night. Or if they just live there.

For its customers, the mortuary will deal with all legal procedures that come with death. Its employees are well educated in a variety of funeral practices, and although the more obscure may elude them, they are prepared to deal with pretty much anything.

The mortuary is owned and funded by the Ashworth and Bishop families, which have a largely hands off policy concerning it. Among its employees is the mortician Seneca Yates.
