Appearance Description: Kenshin's human form consists of dark skin and very light blonde hair which naturally looks to have been spiked up with gel, without any shine. He stands at 5'6" in this form and generally wears jackets with t shirts underneath, as well as either tracksuit pants, jeans or shorts. He usually also wears a white scarf and never leaves home without his shades.
In his Kirin form, he sports 2 pairs of long, red horns, one behind the other. There is also a single horn in front of the other two that curves backwards. His rusty orange mane turns to yellow as it moves away from his head, though the thin section of fur that lines his back and tail retains the rust colour. His torso and the innermost section of his long tail (which covers a little more than half of his total length alone) are purple-blue while his legs are the same rust colour as his mane. The blue-purple colouring of his tail is cut short, quickly becoming a bright yellow. This section of colour is again cut short and becomes rusty orange, which goes on to take up the remaining two thirds of his tail. He stands at 6 ft at the shoulder in this form, and is 19 ft long from head to tail. Without the tail his length would be around 9 ft.

- Very friendly, can appear childish around others his own age or younger. Being raised in a wealthy family, however, has instilled him with formality and maturity.
- As a result he enjoys both formal and informal encounters.
Powers:
Kenshin is a Kirin; therefore he can use the abilities of one. His Kirin physiology grants him with a few abilities:
- His physical abilities, such as strength, speed and stamina are all enhanced far beyond human capabilities.
- Can breathe fire from his mouth and nostrils, as well as simply shooting it from his hands and feet. In addition, he has the ability to envelop his body or parts of it in fire.
- He has the ability to levitate in the air at will. He can use this ability to achieve flight.
- He can induce blessings onto other people. This manifests in different ways for each Kirin. In Kenshin's case, he can only temporarily boost their positive emotions such as joy, laughter, ect. He can only do this if he is experiencing positive emotions himself. It's a good way to get someone pumped up for example.
Over the years he has learnt to assume a human form at will. His appearance in this form is out of his control, but he quite likes it. Ironically, the rest of his family's human forms look similar despite being Japanese in heritage (not to mention his species' Chinese roots). His control over this ability has gotten to the point where he can make parts of his Kirin form (such as the horns, mane or tail, for example) appear in his human form.

His family line traces back to ancient times, where they were familiars to Chinese deities.
His family line has had housing in various Asian regions as well as other places worldwide.
His immediate family was in Japan, their home, when they raised him. They more recently bought a mansion in the US before turning their attention to Manta Carlos.
He, along with his siblings, have attended private schools before Starlight Academy.
They moved from the U.S. to Manta Carlos for a few reasons:
- The mansions there are magnificent.
- They heard of the presence of other mythical creatures; moving to Manta Carlos would provide their children with the chance to meet others like them more openly.
- There would be other rich families to meet there.
