Eve sighed softly as she made her way out to the courtyard, frowning as she stepped into the sun. Yes, she did her best to remain isolated in her room, but the nurses at the Infirmary refused such a thing. And so, here she was, ready to sit under a tree and read because it would be good for her to get out.
She ignored the stares and whispers, having known what she would get herself into when she meticulously crafted the image of the 'Ice Queen of Starlight'. At least everyone was giving her at least a ten foot radius as she shuffled forward, tugging at the hem of a sleeve before settling down and opening the book in her hand-- there was no chance of skin-to-skin contact, no chance of emotional blow ups from her empathy, no chance of pain. It was for the best... right?
