Morgan looked over the posters she had gotten made for the student election. She was running for school president, and she had to make sure she won, what if someone else won? What if they plunged the school into chaos? She had three options, the first was her wearing steel gauntlets provided by Fuhbar, who reluctantly agreed to participate in something he deemed "Unnecessary and childish!", she was wearing her straight and proper school uniform in the poster and had her fists held up, with a very stern expression, the caption for the poster was 'Vote for the steel fists of justice'. The poster made her look very intimidating, which she certainly could be, but did the people voting need to know that?

The second poster had her in her maid outfit, from the maid cafe club she operated, she had a description her co workers described as 'kawaii' and she couldn't really argue with them over it. In the poster she was innocently holding up a heart made out of ice, again provided by one of her spirits.

The third poster had her again in her school uniform looking off into the distance stoically, she wasnt sure about this one, it felt like she was trying to hard to be deep.

The final poster was very different, it presented Morgan in a bikini she owned, a hand on her hip, looking seductively at the viewer, her other hand blowing a kiss of fire. She had thought about trying to use sex appeal to get votes while making this one but... No. No. No. Absolutely not, it was far too embarrassing, she tore up the poster and stuck it into her bag. She rested her head in her hands feeling defeated, how could she make the perfect poster to guarantee her a spot as Student Council President? Perhaps the other person running with her could help... yes they would be the key to victory...

Pham Thi Anh Sang

Little girls with wide eyes and ribbons in their hair didn't normally make for particularly intimidating figures but today, Anh Sang was giving two hundred percent into this latest project of hers. School elections might have sounded like a casual thing to some people but it had to be pointed out that Anh Sang was also half Japanese. That meant that this fell squarely into the field of Serious Business.

She absolutely had to win! Something! Even the lowest position would be okay. To be sure, she wasn't exactly sure what she would do if she won but the girl was certain that everything would work out just fine. After all, since she was younger than most of the other people running, that meant she didn't have as much icky homework assignments! So she had time to actually do things! Fun things, sure, but. No, if she won, she would be completely grown up and serious about stuff. Then nobody could complain about an elementary school student winning.

Not to mention, her mommy and daddy would be so proud of her if she won! Well, half win, anyways. After all, she was running with her cool big sis, Morgan. But Anh Sang was completely sure that her mommy and daddy would like Morgan if they met her so everything was okay.

Speaking of Morgan, Anh Sang perked up upon seeing the older girl by herself at one of the tables. "Morgan, Morgan, Morgan!" Since both of her hands were full with a tray of food, she made sure to sound and look extra enthusiastic as she went over. "What are you doing?"

Her campaign partner had finally arrived, Pham Thi Anh Sang, the younger girl was a friend of Morgans, though she didn't expect the two to get as close as they were fairly far apart in age, but they shared a sort of sisterly bond. Morgan hoped that Anh Sang hadnt seen the embarrassing poster of her in the bikini, she didnt know what she was thinking when she made it.

She raised her head to her friend "Well Ahn Sang, im trying to pick out a good poster for the elections, but im not sure which one to pick." she showed her the three posters, there was no forth, she refused to admit its existence. "Maybe you could help me pick? Or do you think we should make new ones?"

"Oh?" Anh Sang moved opposite of Morgan so she could get a better look. "I don't think I like that one so much," she said after a moment, pointing at the most stoic picture. "They're all nice but I don't know. I just don't like it as much." Plus, it made Morgan seem really super serious! Even though elections were super serious events, it didn't mean that everybody had to look like that, too. Even though Anh Sang would have been okay with it, the fact was that Morgan had given her different options and she was always drawn to the most lively looking pictures.

She pointed at the picture of Morgan in a maid outside instead. "This one's really cute! I've always really liked those kinds of dresses!" Also, because it was proof to her that older girls could play dress up sometimes and not get laughed at. In fact, lots of people seemed to really like it when they did it, which made Anh Sang feel a little jealous.

"This one's funniest, though!" Vote for the steel fists of justice, the last poster said. It seemed a little strange to Anh Sang, but in the good way. "You look like some kind of superhero!"

"Hmm, I suppose youre right about that one." Morgan slid the poster of her in the more stoic pose back into her bag, she valued Anh Sangs opinion, as she saw things differently than Morgan did.

The second picture, with her in the maid outfit Anh Sang described as 'cute'. "Maybe ill see if the Maid Cafe Club can get one made in your size Anh Sang? Thatd be quite cute." she smiled at the idea of the two of them in matching outfits.

Finally there was the 'steel fists of justice' poster, it was defiantly funny, and Morgan looked a little ridiculous with the heavy steel gauntlets. "I suppose I do look a little like a super hero in this one.". Morgan was curious to any ideas that Anh Sang had, she could come up with much more interesting things than Morgan. "So do you have any ideas for posters? Maybe we could be in one together?"

Anh Sang cheered quietly to herself. It would be so fun if she and Morgan could have the same outfit! Also because Morgan was really pretty and adult and Anh Sang kind of wanted to be cool like her.

"Ooh, doing a poster together would be fun!" And just like that, her mind was racing off towards different things that she could do with her magic. "I could use light things in the background to make stuff really pretty and shiny! Oh, but I don't know if it'll actually show up right." She frowned, remembering the last time somebody tried to take a picture of her butterflies with a cellphone. It hadn't come out well but maybe if they could find a better camera-

"Maybe we can ask somebody a good camera," Anh Sang suggested. After all, she had seen pretty pictures of the sun and stars before and those were definitely brighter than her light. "But, we could always use the posters you already have and also do one together on top of that! Then people can see you in different ways and it's less boring and not too much the same all the time!"

Morgan put a hand on Anh Sangs shoulder comfortingly "Dont worry about it, im sure we'll be able to find someone with a good enough camera to pick up your butterfly's. And if not im sure we can find something else to do." she didnt know anyone with a good camera, but she was sure tracking someone down wouldn't be all that difficult.

"Yes maybe instead of using just one type of poster we can use multiple, that way I dont seem to boring." she looked at the posters of her with the gauntlets, and the one with the maid outfit, she figured shed want two more. Morgan wanted to get at least one poster made that involved her friend Anh Sang.

Remembering that she had actually come there intending to eat, Anh Sang began hastily shoveling food into her mouth. It was okay if she didn't chew stuff that well, right? Her mommy always told her that she had to, but the stuff was mostly soft so she was pretty sure she wouldn't just choke on it.

"Maybe one of the photography teachers?" The girl asked between bites. "They have lots of good stuff!" She just didn't have any idea how to use any of it. But it couldn't be too hard. It was just pushing buttons in the end. Kind of.

Oh, but she really so happy to be included! It was nice doing things with other people.

"Do you know what other people are doing? Maybe we can kind of, I don't know. Learn from that?"

Morgan had already eaten, so her plate was clean. She valued Anh Sangs friendship a lot, she sort of reminded her of what she was like as a child.

"Hmm, the photography class could certainly help us, perhaps they've even dealt with the same issue were facing now before." she spoke with confidence, of course the photography class wouldve had to deal with a problem like this before, they must have a solution of some kind.

"Ah yes recon! It would be a good idea to spy on the other candidates to see what theyre up to..."

"Ooh, I think we can spy on people with these!" Proudly, Anh Sang displayed some of her butterflies to her friend. "I use these to talk to my mommy and daddy all the time! Kind of! They don't send sound at all, so I just do funny things with my hands and let them know I'm okay! The light just sucks it up like um, um, that one computer thing! Skip? Skye? It works kind of like that because it's really fast!"

It was also the main reason why her doting parents were perfectly okay with letting their now eleven year old daughter go off to boarding school alone. Sometimes it really was like they had never parted.
