Appearance Description:
Her eyes are a deep scarlet, large, innocent, inviting. though, her eyes are slightly covered by square, maroon spectacles. Her round face and cheeks are dotted with freckles, showing all the clearer thanks to her pale skin. Her hair is fair as well, a light blonde, cut in a short blonde style. The more amazing thing about her face and head, is the pair of small, skin coloured horns, and soft brown ears just below them. Whatever else might be notable about her somewhat cute appearance can be, and often is, marred by her very obvious signs of otherness.
She is short, at only 5.2", with a slender body. She clearly spends most of her time indoors, for her skin is pale all over. Sometimes, sticking out of the top of her shirt, a little brown tail, with white fluff underneath pokes out. Clothing wise, Lulu tends to favour oversized sweaters, and small skirts. She wears sensible shoes.
Personality Description: Lulu doesn't stand out, her personality is nice, but reserved, quiet and unassuming. She is an observer, a content outsider. She used to be bothered by comments when she was younger about her abnomalites, but developed a peaceful "bubble" for herself. She goes into her zone when angry, or afraid. However, she startles easily, and is more likely to run, than get into a fight.
Powers: Aside from physical oddities, Lulu isn't particularly powerful. Yet. As her character grows,she will get "stronger." I will be writing powers she WILL gain, and will mark accordingly when she has gotten them.
As a passive ability, animals around her tend to trust her, even "vicious" animals.
Eventually, she will be able to communicate with them, with no limitations on species or intelligence. She cannot control them, but she can at least communicate and ask them things.
Even further in the future, she will learn to shape shift, into a deer. This form is useful almost exclusively for speed, and she is able to run up to a true deer's max speed. Lulu will be able to shape change at will, but only is able to transform twice a day. It's very exhausting-partly because she spends her time mostly running in the deer form, but mostly because of her body's molecules fighting to be what she wills them to be. So after her first change back to human in a single day, it would take about a half hour rest period to change to deer again for a second and final transformation for the day. And no, her clothing does not change with her.
Biography: Lulu was born, and gave the doctors birthing her a fright with her little horns and big floppy ears. She was raised like a normal little girl, with one exception-her father wasn't around. She had a vague memory of green light, but little Lu never saw the man until she was almost three, and she realized he wasn't a man at all. But the little girl didn't know how to describe him, and could only draw him in the manner that all small children drew with crayons. Soon after, her little sister was born, and her father left again.
Despite this, the little family was happy. Despite not having a lot of money, and only one source of income, they never lacked food-perhaps thanks to the marvelous garden they had. The time before school started was a time of light and warmth.
Things changed, come fall, of her fourth year. Lulu started school. It was fine, at first. The first few weeks were fun, and happy. She had friends! It was during a game, that the hat her mother told her to always wear fell off. At first, her friends thought the tiny bumps on her head and floppy ears were a joke.
Then the prodding, and pulling started. Her mother picked up a tear streaked, silent Lulu early. the rest of her early school years were like this-she would silently take her classmates barrage, reacting less and less as time went on, so that by the time she graduated elementary school, she had created a "safe" bubble. No matter how they tried, her classmates couldn't shake her calm resolve with verbal, nor physical abuse. Her younger sister instead fought them tooth and nail, much rougher than her older sister ever could even in self defence.
Highschool was a new round of abuse; but this time she had her bubble already. Aside from one particularly horrible event in her graduating year, most people left her alone.
She was pleasantly surprised to see a fourth acceptance letter, as opposed to the three schools she had applied. Lulu didn't know if that was normal, but the things promised by this academy, despite it's slightly cheesy name, seemed really promising . It offered a lot of things a poorer end family needed-free education and board. Lulu had had a part time job as soon as she could. If her sister hadn't started going feral, she would have gotten a job too. But, Aulalie couldn't resist being who she was, any more than Lulu could.
It was with her mother's blessing she was to go to this school, where she would be protected.
